Ok...the original thread hasn't seen life in ages, so rather than necro that thread, I decided to start this new one. If you are a poster on the old one or new to this one welcome. The premiss of this thread is so that Veterans from all nations can say hello, exchange ideas and even team up in the game.

I am a Veteran of the US Army (Active Duty) from Oct 89' to Oct 92'. My last duty station was HHC 1/5th SFG SOC FT. Campbell KY. I am currently disabled and am a card carrying member of the DAV (Disabled American Veterans). Any vets interested in friending me ingame, feel free. My @ name is same as my forum name, @QuanManChu.

P.S. Active military can post as well.

Any other vets want to post?

Hello to all Veterans and Military personnal. I am not in the military but I do give everyone of you alot of respect. My Dad was a paratrooper back in World War Two. He got wounded in Holland. He helped kick Hitler's butt. My Dad is proud to do his duty, to help protect the things we all hold dear to our hearts like liberty and freedom. He also became a great father and husband. He will always be my hero.

Oh, I am not over there now. The Indy is mothballed, decommed in '99. I was in Yokosuka back in 94-96. My best friend's wife's brother is stationed on the USS George Washington, which is based out of Yokosuka now.

My dad was stationed at Ft. Hood back in the early 80's (80-84) with the 2nd Armored Div. We lived out in Copperas Cove. My uncle, a retired Sergeant Major, has been the manager of Ft. Hood's Recycle program for the past 15-ish years, and will retire from that job in a couple of years.
