Because Ten Forward has been sorely lacking these random threads lately.

I appreciate Corban, but only at a safe distance and when wearing gloves.

Wait... We're killing fruitbats now? *Glances at avatar. Runs.*

Now now, if you're gonna hunt a fruit bat you have to set the bait.

*Puts some scotch, cookies, a Ravenstein punching bag, a Hazard mutilation doll and the Dark Tower series in a cage set to close when anything inside is touched. Runs and hides in some bushes nearby.*

    *Whispers* Now...everyone, shhhhhh!

Scotch? Hah, you'll have to try harder than that. Maybe slide some Everclear or a Corona in there instead.

A Ravenstein punching bag? Why would I punch Raven? She's my onetime archnemesis/comedic foil/ticket to power. Hazard was the one I ruthlessly beat on.

The other three items on that list? Not a bad choice. Too bad I already have 'em all, though. :D

*While Daevan stands there correcting the wolf, the wolf hits the button dropping a steel fine mesh net which instantly electrifies the bat upon contact.*

    Fried fruit bat anyone?

    LATER EDIT:

Weeeee! Going down, just like all me other appreciation threads!

I suppose I shouldn't enjoy it, but what else am I to do?

*The Brushie slowly staggers to his feet, brushes himself off, and pulls out a small gun. He places the strange gun-shaped device to his head, closes his eyes and pulls the trigger.*

    Kundalini!

*A shower of silver fragments heralds the arrival of a strange, multicolored, double headed snake. Brushie grins and motions to the thread. The snake encircles the thread, then with a careless flip, tosses it back to page one. *

    You're welcome, Corban.

Well that's nice of you Daevan, but since I lack any groupies we both know this thread just won't last. Probably better that it doesn't either.

Of course if people want to express their apprciation for random posts they could do that.

Hey random posts...here's a plate of bacon and some coffee for you!
