Just wondering what is the normal temperature everyone's video card runs at while playing STO? Mine usually is between 60-75 degrees Celsius. Not a major computer whiz here so I don't quite know if that temperature is good for the card or not.....

Lower is better, but that doesn't sound horrible. What is the model of card?

Measure it when the machine is idle to get a baseline. But that does not sound high at all. I believe cards are usually rated to over 100 degrees C.

Most cards will start seeing major throttling and degredation at around 90C - IF you get to 100C; you're frying electronics BIG TIME.

long as you got fan speeds set right against temp and enough room for airflow you can keep a card under 60C on high load as i have mine atm

I actually cooked one of my dual cards recently. :( Watch those temps and airflow. You could use this idea to keep things cool: http://www.flickr.com/photos/65414509@N00/3716129557 :D:D

I run with 2 GTX 480's, which usally hover at around 65°C under load. They pop to 75°C ocasionally. Idle temprature is 40°C.
