Just thought I'd pop in and see how many people are still playing the old game! I'm pretty active in that community modding new ships still these days, but I thought I'd see about the rest of you. Anybody still fire it up for old time's sake?

    Bridge commander, no, Legacy, yeah.

Trek Battles 2 is awesome. Adds new missions complete with voice acting (most of it good) and support for hundreds of mods including the Kelvin and JJ-Prise, two awesome mods in my opinion.

No. I got tired of the endless drama brought on by a few individuals and the hacks of others.

alas I have no idea where to get a copy of that game. My friend had it a long time ago so I did get to play it a few times. I wouldn't mind trying it again.

No, though i have been watching the progress on the new one that is being created, however the name i cant recall. New Engine and all that, not by developers it is made up of modders of the original BC community. Though from what i have seen the interiors look better in it than what we see in STO.

    Excalibur? It looks sweet imo.

As for whether i still play it? No; STO actually gives me a more complete star trek experience, so i play that.

Excalibur is going to make a great replacement to BC when it's finished. I'm on the artist team for that game doing the Galaxy Class and a few others, and I can tell you that a lot of the stuff that's been done is pretty amazing. But these days so many mods for BC have really kept it interesting. The level of detail and quality on the ships is unmatched, and it's still by far the best simulation experience for ST fans, rather than arcade style combat, I'd say.

Hey Curtis, awesome and from what i have seen you guys are doing one heck of a job. I didn't get into the modding of BC, however i was a SFC3 modder and ive been watching alot of what you guys are doing and it is just remarkable. What engine are you guys using anyhow?

Shameless plug, but I gotta say I loved your Galaxy class pack you did for BC a while back. That USS Venture was my favourite ship in the game...
