he's complaining about me I have 8 mains and I craft like you wouldn't believe. Sorry I don't buy my mats off the exchange
well you sound like jesus incarnate or as your kdf maybe we shall class you as damian reborn but if you can be in every place at once in a zone like he describes an be omniprsent you fancy teaming up for pvp

Op, edit your post so you don't get infractions. He's not doing anything wrong. You can also go into instances and just farm the anomalies, and come back out and collect them in the nebula too.
It is a Nebula are there not other Anomalies floating around that you can scan? Is this person sitting on the only anomaly in the whole damn Nebula? I doubt it so fly somewhere else and scan them.
I played a crafter for 5 plus years in another mmo and get satisfaction from farming and crafting all my own equipment and supplying friends and fleet mates with gear not to mention I find no reason to spend credits on what I can get through gameplay

Much of this farming would be eliminated if Cryptic made certain craftables bound on creation. This also would stop the flooding of goods on the exchange, especially with the crafable very rares.
if you want to farm particles, just switch into the unexplored systems. there always 2-4 in there too ... is much faster farming than farming the data within the nebula itself.
To bad anyway, It was inspected to get one.
And for the one responsible for his behavior all I can say it's very childish off you.....
In fortunate Lot off people don't know what you all said on sto chat.
To bad there are childish people in the game that don't want to share.

Exactly what would that solve? All that would do is force EVERYONE to craft and either more people would be farming, or materials would be even higher than they are now due to demand.

A lot of us told you to edit the post if you had done so you would have avoided the infraction. If he said something bad you should have used the report feature, that is why it is there, and again all you keep talking about is wanting to use the same broken spawn point. I thought you wanted to 'solve' it?

How is more stuff ony the exchange a bad thing in the first place...
Here's what was said in zone chat he sends tell to me don't you have anything better to do? Then I put him on ignore he posts lies about me on forums. Later he shows up in zone tries to push me around but can't I say in zone chat you all got reported on the forums for harassment. so much drama for just wanting to farm mats for schematics can't really craft without them
First of all, there's nothing saying he can't do what he's doing.
What he's doing isn't harming you .... last I checked there were more then one node in the nebula.
The only reason this would upset you is if you wanted to do the same thing, <crackle> Pot, this is ketle, over.
30+ tickets? ... I would say it is people like you that have brought about the necessity of automated respons systems, thanks for that.
On a side note...
I'm also one of those players who just likes to play my game and not socialize the whole time. It is truely surprising how upset people get when you don't talk to them, as if you are ruining thier life. I just love games where I'm clicking away at half my abilities with the mouse, the other half on hot keys, using whatever is available to move around, and I get a tell from the 'sit in one spot and click one button' cleric. "You don't talk much do you?"
Yea I usually close my chat window to avoid people like him when I do open it I just end up putting a bunch of players who shouldn't be in the kdf to start with on ignore
If you work the market, but myself I like it. Never been much of a crafter I much prefer to buy the crafted stuff from them
Thats why i skip this usually, there are to many "crazy guys" that farm for days to only produce items... some like that, but thats not my idea of how i play a game...
I had enough of that in eve with the stupid 0.001 wars, later i was just a mission runner and dumped my loot after a few weeks of running.. good times to ruining the market for a short time in a certain region.
i do nebula's because im not at home im on a laptop with a crappy cellphone for internet connection running missions just plain sucks when you get choppy frame rate and rubber band
Like it or not - bots are part of any game. Let a GM handle it. Now sounds liek the person you named is not botting, so it is a non-issue.
Honestly I sit and farm myself on occasion. Might be talking to the wife, or doing something for work or the like. Heck I have a problem with falling asleep playing anymore (different topic - but game does get redundant).
And honestly it is also in the presentation of how you talk to people too. If you say something like "Hey bud - need some help?" that might solve 99% of the problems over "Hey! Move you (censored) (censored) (censored) fat (censored) before I (censored) with a pool queue in the middle of (censored)!"
I am not the best communicator around, but I try to improve everyday. And coming from someoen that deals with folks, I know I can drop the F bomb about 6.8 times in 5 secs if I get po'd.
on a dif stroke, why the hell is a kdf farming nebulas for mats get in the sorties u get tons more doing them.
Actually there are certain spots where you can scan an anomaly every 22 seconds in the Klingon star clusters. You usually get 4-5 data samples each scan, so you get a lot more by sitting in that one spot than you do from doing the Pi Canis missions. I do agree with you though. I'd rather be able to do something other than sit in one spot. I need some form of combat to keep me entertained every now and then. I've tried to sit in those spots and I get very bored very quickly.

If you're not at home and it's a crappy connection, then why play STO? You're not actually playing the game, all you're doing is sitting there scanning the same anomaly every 22 seconds for hours on end. That's not any fun. Why not play a game that you can enjoy and that the laptop can handle instead of staying at the same one spot for 18-24 hours every day. Just out of curiousity, can you honestly say that you sit there for the full amount of time and that you do not use a macro or keybind to do the farming for you and also to keep you online?
It's strange te reactions on here. The OP is in the wrong for naming but everything Tranch has said strikes me as exactly the sort of excuse a botter would use to pretend he wasn't botting and yet everybody is jumping in to say what a fine fellow he is.

To be fair some people are attacking Tranch. But, honestly, the choppiness of the OP's post does lead to certain questions about his... motives. So, yeah, it's pretty much a no-win here.
I'm wondering if it's even possible to do the scanning mini-game on a craptastic connection, but that's neither here nor there.

Considering the OP's story doesn't even make sense, I wouldn't count on it.
There's no possible way to farm all the anomalies in every instance without someone else being able to reach one too. The OP's story doesn't even make sense.

I think the OP was talking about a single anomaly in the cluster that respawns every 30 seconds. But, don't quote me on that, I'm not certain.

Hot and heavy GM action? Sounds freaky!

Awww,great.....more pet spam.:D
lol i dont use pets in pvp anyone thats gone against black heart knows that i dont need pets
If you are farming anomalies, then you can't afford to buy items off the exchange....
i wish you good luck on the gameplay

Oh sure things are cheaper, but its also impossible for non-farmers to make a profit at the same time.
