Hmmmm, ok, to give an abstract. All the information we need on the topic is combined in one dev thread that can easily be found through the dev tracker. But it would be better for you if the information is cluttered over multiple threads instead?! K
The Prometheus is on tribble now for what? A week? Sounds like a lot of time for me to hop over there and take a look, for a minute or two. If you are so interested in the MVAM like your colorful language indicates, this sounds like a good plan for me. But probably you couldn't find Tribble because it's only 1 server.
So what, you can't buy it yet and have to wait another few thousand skill points? You could have earned all those points already instead of honoring us with this thread.
Edit: Oh and yes I understood you would like to have it on the main page with a big red blinking light instead of klicking at two buttons first. Unfortunatly there are also other things posted on this forum, so not everything can be placed as a headliner for you.
all i have been saying, is that a simple announcement where everyone can find it(please do not give me that bs about it being in that one thread, ive already made my point on this), such as on the homepage for star trek online
The problem is it been anouced ont he fourms and if you just get your head out of you TRIBBLE$ you would know it. So stop and just check the Dev Tracker (that only reports what the devs have said ) and you will notice 3 to 4 pages worth of info just on the MVAM in that one thread
im saying this information should have been posted on the main website as soon as they put the MVAM on the websites events calendar
You can flame people all you like, it still does not help your case. Flaming aside, information for upcoming releases gets added to the calendar weeks in advance of that items release.
The MVAM, much like everything else, is not finished when it first gets added to the calendar. How are they able to add in final details on a product before the product is even finished?
So is it a full "new" ship or just a console i can add to my existing advanced assault ship?
It's a new ship AND a new Console (ie the new ship has a slightly different BO layout); but the console itself can be equipped on either version of the Promtheus (if you like the existing ship's BO config.)

it was added to the calendar a few days ago. they could have released the information on that at the time, instead of at time of launch

It IS on the website (in the MVAM Prometheus C-Store description):
Designed for the U.S.S. Prometheus in the 2370s, multi-vector assault mode was removed from later vessels to give the Starfleet Corps of Engineers more time to perfect the technology. Now the Federation Multi-Vector Advanced Escort is the ultimate tactical vessel! The Multi-Vector Advanced Escort has seven weapons slots (4 fore, 3 aft), seats for five bridge officers (1 Ensign Tactical; 1 Lieutenant Tactical; 1 Commander Tactical; 1 Lieutenant Engineering; 1 Lieutenant Commander Science) and space for nine console modifications (2 Engineering, 3 Science, 4 Tactical). It carries a crew of 150 and has a Multi-Vector Assault Module that can be slotted into any console modification slot, granting the ship three new abilities. Each of the abilities of a Multi Vector Assault Module activates Multi-Vector Assault Mode, which splits the ship into three sections and allows you to command one of those sections in battle. Each section has different capabilities. The Multi-Vector Assault Module may be removed from the ship's console modifications, but it cannot be slotted on any ships but a Multi-Vector Advanced Escort or an Advanced Escort. Note: Purchase of the Multi-Vector Advanced Escort unlocks this ship for all Federation characters of Vice Admiral rank on an account. The Multi-Vector Advanced Escort also is available in-game per character via Emblems.
How is it Cryptic's fault if you choose not to read the info they put up BEFORE you buy?

That is not what the OP is whining about. They are whining that the "final release" information was not added to the website a couple of weeks ago when the MVAM was put on the events calendar.... even though the "final" information was not decided at that time.
im saying this information should have been posted on the main website as soon as they put the MVAM on the websites events calendar
everybody is hearing you. they are just not agreeing with you.
they are not going to post official info on the website during the testing phase as its all subject to change. in fact there really is no info you should take as the truth until the launch day as its always subject to change. that's why the info is posted today and not a week ago as it changes all of the time.
the constantly changing information, whether you like it or not, was located in the correct place. a place that is very easy to find via the dev tracker. putting it on the front page is not the right thing to do until its ready.
at best they could have linked an update to the current forum post, but the dev tracker will do just that as well. in fact the dev tracker is better as it links to the dev post itself and not the start of the thread which is usually out of date.
Umm how could they they were changing stats and what not on it uptil it got relase on holodeck.....just admit your wrong shut up and look at the Dev trtacker thank you
im wrong because cryptic dropped the ball?
ive played other MMO's. the companies that produce them get the information out so people can see it before it goes live. thats what we pay these companies for

No we play to pay. And like i said howdo you expect finaly infomation on a profuct if they were chaging such info upto the time you went like.....All am saying is your full of yourself if you think Cryptic should know what the finaly product is going to be before they even try toi listen to the player base. now bye bye now

BINGO! Cryptic does! It is called...
Wait for it...
Wait for it...
TRIBBLE TEST SERVER!
Then when they make changes you know as they are made!
And check this out! If it is an actual change they put on LIVE! Well they make a post about that, there are patch notes, and there is the dev tracker to keep you in the know on all of that!

Huh? The MVAM module and ship have been on Tribble (and freely test drivable for free for over a week); and the Devs MADE adjustments to the ship and console BASED on feedback from posts (and datamining) of the players who logged into Trible and tested it.
How can you say "Cryptic dropped trhe ball" when most MMO developers don't bother to adjust anyhing based on player feedback (Blizzard rarely changes anything from test to Live based on feedback.)
If you wanted to see what was coming you should have taken the ship and module out for a run on Tribble and posted your own feedback to the Devs afterwards. Crying 'foul' about how Cryptic handled it at this point is just absurd.
I am going to laugh when a Mod comes and posts links to the Dev tracker.
Possibly, though a thread closure is a definite, and perhaps a vacation for the op for his little hissy fit earlier in the thread. Oh well, you just can't tell some people anything.
Okay, its not "everywhere," but its in the "one" thread that is relevant to the issue at hand. If you want to know about MVAM, you don't go reading the threads on Tribble breeding.
I concur on the use of the Dev Tracker. If you want official word on any topic, you can sift through the Dev responses to relevent threads. It may still be something of a needle in a haystack, but it will be a much smaller stack with much larger needles.

are you that ignorant to what ive been saying?

And in those "few days" (which is more like a week or more) the MVAM could have (and did) change. So you still would have whined about it.
