I know this may sound like a stupid question but I Atari Support have replied to my ticket and have ask me a bunch of questions in order to recify my poblem but their seems to be no facility to reply to the ticket so im back to my question...
does anyone know how to reply to a ticket? do I have to send in another ticket with a ref on it to reply to the ticket?
You can only reply via the Atari Support website. Login, open My Tickets, and then click "edit" to actually reply. I typically add my reply to the bottom of my original message with a time stamp, e.g.:

It isn't intuitive, but it works.
