Hey guys, I just wanted to share a little project I did with my PC:

Essentially, it's a custom vinyl that went on the side panel of my Antec DF-35 case. That's my current ship and registry number, so its not just a random piece of art from the game.

In case you're wondering, here were the steps I went through to make this:

- Took screencaps of my ship in the game, and cropped the picture to 1200x1200 px. The game natively displays in 1900x1200 px on my machine so this is as high res as I could get a square picture.
- Using editing software, I put in the ship name and reg number using a Trek font I found on the net. I also included a PNG of the STO logo to make it look more legit.
- Re-attached the panel to my computer, and voila, done!

There'd be no reason to do that to my computer. My computer gets hidden within a desk.

That's some people's opinions. But others like to show off hardware! =)

Hmmmm, if you did it as an outline, I wonder how much it would be to get it laser cut...

That looks nice! I would not do that since my tower sits on the floor under my computer desk and only sees the light of day when I am changing out some component or other.

Hmmm, just wondering, does anyone keep their computer in a place where it sees light of day? I know it's a thing that a lot of people like to hide, but there must be more people out there that might like to show it off.

I would love to show mine off more, but my personal one is not used anymore due to the fact I use the family one, and my one is now so dated compared to the family one that it's not worth bothering with.

Plus the family computer is hidden within a desk to cleanliness/cabling reasons

Why is there a book reading "Trump" in the background...? Do you perhaps play as a Ferangi?
