My god, that looks like a really old episode! Is that even when Trebek was hosting the show?? I think that was the guy before him! Gese, that's an old, old episode!

Think of how far the show's come: Teen tournaments, Collage Tournaments, 75 game win streaks, Genius computers that for some reason think that Toronto is a U.S. city...

    Teenagers...

Wait, I'm a teenager. Then again, I answered all those questions correctly. :p

And to think, those actors went out of their way to film those questions. Including Tuvoc and the Doc, good actors both of them!

Losers. And they think they're smart enough for Jeopardy having never watched Trek

    Holy. Cow.

Watching that filled me with an almost uncontrollable urge to take their lunch money.

    Doesn't surprise me that much.

Voyager was the first Trek show to not be released as a syndicated program from the start since TOS. Now this may not have been a bad thing except the network that ran Voyager and a bit later Enterprise was UPN. It wasn't even available in half the U.S. for most of it's run before it merged with the WB to become the CW. Most UPN shows didn't survive the merger. Enterprise was in season 3 at the time I think.

Yeah, so It doesn't surprise me that they didn't know anything. Looked like the YouTube video may have been from around season 2 or 3 possibly 4 of Voyager as a guess.

These kids are too busy reading encyclopedias to actually WATCH Star Trek (or any TV show.) Also, just because they're high IQ nerds ;) dosen't mean they are science fiction fans. The fact that category was the only one remaining should have also been a clue no one there was a Star Trek fan.

The only two I would've gotten were 1 and 3, and maybe 5, but I didn't listen to it. 1960s Jeopardy doesn't sound nearly as good as 2011 Jeopardy.

I'm sure if you look at the schools they came from, probably fairly high-class and not what you might consider the 'daytime TV' watching crowd. Being on Jeopardy, I'd wager them sitting fairly high on scholastic achievements. Though I AM surprised they didn't know Vulcan its likely they don't spend a lot of time watching TV.

I got three of them right.

    My plagiarized comment:

"I just sat here laughing at them for not knowing what the heck a Vulcan was and then I realized something. I suck at just about every other category that they can all answer. I stopped laughing and am now stuffing chocolate in my stupid face. Ahh, all better now."
