I picked up a x2 [dmg] batleth on my first run, works well since it was a fed klingon I ran it on.

No Katana in this mission? :( after seeing this in the 2009 film I always wanted one.

Dunno if this is a bug with it, but when the weapon has the [DMG] bonus, it doesn't seem to actually add any damage.

They said before when the [dmg] mod first came out, that it was so small, you are not likely to actually see the decimal adjustment on the tool tips, but it is infact there.

the weapon rack is a random green or blue melee weapon

Does changing the difficulty change the likelihood you will get a blue as appose to green?

I concur. Cryptic have really set the bar high this time. If next weeks episode is LESS detailed, or shorter than this one, I will be severely disappointed. This weeks episode truely FELT like a Star Trek episode, and actually took me about as long (~45 min) to complete.

    More of these episodes PLEASE.

    You're in for some surprises.

We're going to the big city in "Cutting the Cord" - the finale.

I've done it 5 times now on normal, and 2 of those were blues. So I'd say its not dependent on anything.

The whole increased difficulty affecting loot was just an increased chance of mobs dropping loot. It doesn't affect the rarity of the loot, or from containers. It only increased the chances across the board of any loot dropping of any quality. So technically yes you have a higher chance to get blues, but you also have a higher chance to get whites. ;)

Also, I gave up after 7 tries, just gonna buy the stupid naussican sword off the exchange in a few days after the price levels out.

@mykey, I had been doing them all the way through but I got so frustrated with the mission I quit after the worm the last couple times. Just drop and sit in bridge for half an hour for the replay timer to run out. I really hate that timer.

Confirmed melee weapons so far: (All appear to be faction agnostic, as, in three run-throughs, and with what has been reported here, we managed to acquire at least one example of all of these.)
    • Bat'leths
    • Lirpas
    • Tsunkatse Falchions (longswords)
    • Nausicaan Tegloar Swords (short swords)

It may just be perception, but there does seem to be an unusually high chance for getting a Blue from this, a group of 5 players, in three run-throughs (all on different characters, for what that's worth), got 6 Blue weapons. (Not that this is a bad thing, just thought it bore mentioning.)

Will update if/as more are confirmed,
