I haven't! And honestly I think they're likely bullcrap.

However, last year I saw in the middle of the day a sudden streak in the sky that left plane-like streaks behind it but went far too fast and seemed to disintegrate. I'm guessing it was a meteor that died before it hit the ground. I looked on news sites and stuff but couldn't find anything at all mentioning it. I'd think it would be mentioned somewhere because it left quiet a mark and was very visible in the bright blue day and made it through a good amount of atmosphere.

Sometimes I think I do. Turns out later to be a bird or a spec of dust on my glasses.

I do believe in alien life, and in alien life that's more advanced than we are. I just don't think it wants anything to do with us.

I have seen some unusual tin cans with flappy bits on, but I doubt they'd be considered UFOs...:p

Hort took this fuzzy picture a couple years ago....
edit: Oh, and the way the telescope's optics work, there's no way that could've been a fly. I could wave my hand in front of the thing and it wouldn't show up in the image.

Once, but I couldn't identify it.
I was at Groom for the weekend back in the 70's as child while parents were consulting on something.

I think you might havee seen some sort of secret goverment experiment, many people have reported "UFO"'s like what you have described, but later the news reports, (from Russan Times TV), say that the U.S is testing a next-gen strato-plane for some sort of hooha in the gulf, that or the new "secret" plane is to spy on Russia and other countrys that have ICBM's, I dunno, but whatever the reason the goverment is doing some weird C.I.A **** up in the skies above us.

Meanwhile the real question should be, why does hort have such a powerful telescope?

    not to my knowledge.

i often see strange lights in the sky but i assume they are planes and im sure they are. i guess they could technically be a UFO but i dont personally believe aliens have visited us.

Ooook... so... UFO does NOT mean Alien space craft.

It merely means a flying object that you are unable to identify... As such it can be anything... A plane, a stone, a squirrel shot out of a cannon barrel... Or an alien spacecraft...

Coincidently, I found Singles 2 on sale a couple weeks ago. :p I haven't gotten to it yet, though.

we know but i think the OP meant it in the context of aliens and not if we have ever seen a squirrel shot out of a cannon.

    ive never seen that either.

You are most likely correct, it was probably a meteorite. They are actually very common, so common that they seldom make the news unless somebody gets a really good video of it. I doubt that a still shot, even a good still shot would be worthy of a news mention.

I've seen plenty of unidentified flying objects.

Were any of them alien space ships? Who the heck knows? Always fun to speculate though. :)

I've seen plenty of things I can't identify, both in the air and on the ground.

I haven't necessarily seen alien spacecraft though, if that's what you're getting at.

Probably true. If that thing happened in the middle of the night it would have lit up the freakin' sky since it was so bright and low in the day time. Wish I had seen it then. ;)

I do believe I saw one once. It kind of freaked me out. I know someone else that thinks they saw one once. Honestly, I tend to believe they are some type of government test-craft. But who really knows?

one night I looked up and thought i seen something. Thought it was just a plane, but after awhile you could see a very dim light, like electricity in patterns under it. It was moving pretty fast, then did a 90 degree turn to the left, another 90 degree turn to the right and speed off and was gone in a second. Dunno if it was alien or our government testing something. I live next to a closed down Air force base that is rumored to have tunnels underground....... So who knows, always fun thinking about that stuff.

I've seen something that didn't seem to look like an airplane or helicopter, as far as I could tell, but who's to say what it was? I don't claim to know. I like to think it's -possible- that an advanced alien craft might actually be able to visit us, but at the same time I know the odds are against it.

I live under a testing flight-path for Sikorsky, I see stuff all the time. All of it fits "Unidentified flying object" as a definition. Never once seen anything I'd consider "Space aliens"

Besides, I think Einstein put it best. "The fact that intelligent alien life hasn't contacted us yet proves that it is just that, intelligent"
