Err...hmmm. It's not bad....but if "fan-fic" was music, I'd say this was it.

Nope. Nobody was hyped about the first five times somebody posted about it here either.

Well, the game is going to be browser based so the graphics won't be amazing like STO's, but they've got Mike Okuda working on it, that's always a plus. And their cutsenes are apparently going to be way better than STO's. I don't think anybody's saying that it'll be better than STO, but it will be a great supplement to STO by giving players a chance to experience some things that STO lacks.

The cut scenes would have to be the best to make up for the restrictive game play. Browser games will never be as versatile as boxed games. Simply not feasible to packet blast that much information a mouse click at a time.

At the very least, you can't deny that the song is good. At the very least it beats Enterprises opening theme. ;)

STO's soundtrack could use some work IMO. One of the songs even sounds like a clone of one from Age of Empires 2 to me. I can't wait until they start adding more music from the shows and movies.

I've never actually played Minecraft, but I was impressed by the Galaxy class that one guy made in minecraft. It truly is masive.

I admit nothing at all regarding the cut scene quality or music. The church does not recognize false idols and remains faithful in service to one parish only, 10Forward.

That music was real good, completely reminded me of DS9 (sinse the game is focused around DS9 ;) )

Honestly don't find the music to be special in any sort of way. Like I said, it's not bad, but "really good?" C'mon now.

By "real good" I meant it wasn't TRIBBLE, but wasn't epic...kind of like "it's ok."

Haha my bad for not wording that properly :o:p

They need a better midi synthesizer; and hiring a musician might help. IMO - very generic, and in some part sounds out of tune. (and I'm not try to knock the score, I have a few friends who have done musical scores and arrangements.)

But it's a browser game, so I'm not surprised by the 'quality;.

I agree that the quality of the song isn't great. However, the arrangement sounds more like "Trek" than most of the music in STO. I really think STO needs some more slow songs. Everything is so fast and frenetic.

It reminds me of the background music from Armada 2. I liked that. Thought it had a good Trek "feel" too it, much like this does. I do wish that STO had more music like this in it.

I tried their BSG Online game yesterday. I loved that they used Bear McGreary's soundtrack.

But I felt that they did not necessarily play the right titles for the scenes. And the game was meh. I hope someone has played it and can tell me the storyline, though, because I am a sucker for stories.

Wow, the song is very pretty. So Star-Trekish =D
In my opinion, I personally still prefer the STO-style soundtrack.
