Able to buy time cards in any stores?

Just curious, I just checked with some Gamestops near me, and they have STO for 9 bucks(woot!), but I was wondering if they had any time cards that would work with STO, and they said no. Now, would time cards for any Cryptic game(if they exist), would they work? I ask cause I have like 70 odd bucks in store credit, and it'd be nice to get the game and the next 4 months of play all in one.

STO Game Time Codes only work with STO.
CO Game Time Codes only work with CO.

These are not on a shared system, sorry.

Are there any plans to create generic 'Cryptic Cards', that could be redeemed for either 30 days in STO or CO, or a bundle of Atari Tokens?

I don't know if this would help, but since STO time card are come in a DVD box wrapped like a game (MAJOR waste of plastic BTW, shame cryptic), the time cards might be racked with the game. I had a gift card for Best Buy, went in and could not find the time card in the time card section. Finally found it next to the game. Hopefully this will be the case for you.

You guys should really consider releasing an Atari Tokens card branded with STO and CO instead of vanilla time cards.

Basically add an option to buy subscriptions with Atari Points, and have the card be worth a month's subscription. Then you only have to make and ship one product and you give people the option of adding fifteen bucks worth of points to their account for either game (and possibly future Atari games), and with those points they can then purchase a month of Star Trek Online, or a month of Champions Online, or items from their associated stores.

    Effectively this...

... but a slightly neater system.

you know i have been wondering the same thing I always get gift cards and stuff for stores like gamestop, walmart and target and i would love to have pre-paid cards to use kinda of like how microsoft has point cards for xbox live and year and month subscriptions.

You can now buy Virtual Atari Token Giftcards, which gets you a redemption code that you can gift to someone else.

Not quite the same as popping a physical giftcard in an envelope, but it's something.

I do know that Canadian Best Buy and Future Shop stores were selling retail timecards for STO but they don't seem to sell them anymore.
