I'm gambling on a Romulan weapon, or a series of Romulan weapons like a weapon set, that would be a mix of Romulan technology and Borg technology. But that's just me.

P.S. Was Hakeev a Liberated Borg? I thought that at first when I saw the black marks on the side of his head, but those were actually a tatoo of the RSE symbol...

I wasn't sure at first when people were debating this over the weekend so I snagged a screenshot.

Definitely a Liberated Borg (same parts my Lib Borg Captain uses) and, I think, the first one we've seen in-game that wasn't player controlled.

Not neccessarily a liberated borg. It could also simply be borg technology he is using.... stands to reason since they do heavy research into borg technology.

With that totally scarred up eye? I doubt it. I would think a Romulan surgeon would be more careful adding Borg technology, especially with a member of the Tal Shiar. He's definitely a Liberated Borg.

My guess is it's something used on a ship like the Aegis or Borg set that will change the look of your ship. Maybe a PvE Borg/Rommy set?

I don't see any scars... I see the TNG Wrinkled Romulan Forehead, part of a tatoo around the lower part of his left eye and the BORG face-spider attachment...

They are using BORG technology to upgrade everything....

Why not upgrade themselves as well, without the connection to the Borg Hive.

Here's a better screen shot of Hakeev.

Zoom in on that eye. Now tell me you don't see the 3 clawed scar running off near the bridge of the nose. That's scar tissue, not a tattoo.

I still don't see a scar... but I'll give ya the benefit of the doubt....

It could be that he was attacked by something in the past and had the Borg Stuff implanted to make up for the loss of the eye.

Just saying.... the way the story is going so far it doesn't seem to me that he was ever Assimilated.

He seems more like the type to do it to himself on purpose, to use the implant to be more powerful than anybody else around him.

A way to make himself Superior to eveyone else.

It looks like a scar to me as well. But I could be wrong.

Well i was not around for the Breen so I am honestly hoping for a Romulan BO (I like the remans, but a Female romulan BO *drool*).. And some of us will never get a Breen (unless they put it on the Cstore),

So yes Im hoping for a Romulan bridge officer, because very rare bridge officers are hard to get and the exchange prices are ridiculous.

Cryptic I'm begging you please give us another way to get BOs other than just leveling up or a few early level quest (with white or green BOs). I would love a series of quest (over a couple of days) that would give you a BO of your choosing (still cant pick the traits though) that was immediately bound to you... but thats for another thread...

But yeah... I am crossing my fingers for a Romulan Bridge officer!

    Please no more BO´s.

I already got an away team
*) Liberated Borg human from C-Store
    *) Breen BO
*) Borg BO from Kithomer Accord
*) Orion BO from reaching Ambassador

I wouldn´t know which one to take out of my away team. :o

I´m expecting a melee weapon or a thalaron ground weapon ( rifle perhaps? ) as mission rewards.
    Final reward is difficult.
No Ambassador class...unless some other epic klingon ship is rewarded.
No cloaking device. How should this be usefull for a klingon unless he´s in a Garumba / Carrier / Marauder?
I´m thinking more of a nice ship weapon. Thalaron torp?
Some kind of mini thalaron generator console that can cast attacks like the Scimitar.
Dunno. Love to see whats there in the end.

if you follow the "cannon" of the abrams universe the ship nero uses(http://memory-alpha.org/wiki/Narada) is heavely borg teched out so im assuming whatever reward we get will be some kin dof rommie/borg hybrid.

    jump to the Apocrypha paragraph

agree with the no more BO.
I don't think they will do anything with a Thalaron weapon. Isn't that what we are 'fighting' against in this series?

    So....it comes back to - I don't know

Hey, you don't have to put all special BOs in one characters away team. Five of my characters have the Breen BO, but only one or two use it actively in the away team or an assignment slot of the ship. Similarly only two of the 7 characters that have the Ophidian cane use it regularly. Still, I'm for more choices in terms of gender and class. I could really use a Romulan engineer on the cruiser of my main.

Forcing you to make choices is good. Also, at least one of those is only a white quality BO.

I'm really leaning towards that last one. I want a full away team of Liberated Borg sooner rather than later and it would also be awesome to promote to a Captain later in the year.

I hope it is not a Romulan BO.

I run a Starfleet crew, not a galactic exchange program with my bridge crew from our opposing factions.

Then sell it on the exchange. You could do that with the Breen BO.

Dont even joke about that, every once in a blue moon a Breen comes up on the auction house..... for billions.... and i cry and cry and cry....

I want one but even if I had billions it would not be worth the cost.

So if it is a Romulan BO (and I really hope it its) please don't put it on the auction house or you will make me weep.

They were available pretty regularly as low as 1.5-2.5 million until last month when the supply started dwindling, which seemed to happen fast after the crafting update went in. They weren't always as expensive as they are now.

    I've still got a KDF one I haven't used.

You see - the Breen BO is a great thing, as officer in use as well as money-making device.
A non-Vulcan pointy-eared Star Empire BO would be equally lovely.

And think of the possibilites: Maybe we'd be able to customize his/her Romulan uniform...
But I don't want to have hopes such high - I already hoped I'd be able to adjust the Breen BO's visor color - oh, that would have been great, Imho.

While i would love an Romulan (first choice) or Reman BO, i highly doubt that, dstahl said in the jan or feb engineering report there would be no more new races and BO's until the crew system has been implemented.
