SYS 64738...... WOW can't believe i still remember that from my old C64.
Edit: I remember when the Commodore 128 came out and the advert in my PC magazine had a man sitting in front of it and it looked like a hurricane was blowing out his screen. HAHA thats raw power!!!
Had this sales person at "bad buy" tell me about this new "tower" computer called...... a HP I think. It looked funny! You cant even put your monitor on top of it!! I told him thank you very much but I will stick with my Tandy 1000 with 14.4 modem. Darn kid I dont get what I said that made the whole store think It funny. I got into my Pinto and headed back to radio shack. Bought me a 28.8 modem Seems faster know. Radio Shacks the best! They dont laugh at me!
The reason I asked about the floppys was because my Dos crashed trying to load Windows 3.0 I started downloading the game at launch. 2 days ago I finally got it downloaded. 14.4 modems with Prodgy dial up is so slow! Thats why I wanted to upgrade to the 28.8 modem. When the game was runing it took me 7 hours to get from the transporter room to the club. I hope once I re install the game I plan to set off for vulcan. I think it should take no more than a year to get there.
I am sure it can be arranged, but I think the only way to get the 8 track player is to purchase a car with it still in it. Although that is still probably less then an Ipod.
I miss my Tandy now and playing the old Robocop sidescrolling game on it. The game came with 7 floppies. How times have changed!
Oh yes... I still remember installing Windows 3.11 and Office (dont remember the ver), from Floppies... The peace and quiet of just sitting at your pc, listening to the drive going BZZ-BZZ-BZZ
"Please insert the floppy labed 'Microsoft Windows 3.11 DIsk 24 of 52' into your floppy drive and press resume". (not sure about the number... but i have the entire set of floppies around here somewhere.

I'm a bit too young for punchcards, but I did experience 8 inch and 5 1/4 inch floppies.
I still recall my first "real" home computer, a dull grey box with a 10 Mhz 80286, one full Megabyte of RAM and a 32 MB Hard Drive. I even managed to install (9 floppies or so...) and run Windows 3.1 on that one, although that was really cutting it close in terms of disk space -.-

Windows are what I look out of to see into the neighbor's yard. My Kaypro 10 came loaded with CPM, and it never, ever crashes. You should see STO in green!
From what I can tell there is 14.6 gig of game. At least in the game folder. Now I am not a math person but on a 1.4 meg disk I came up that it would take 10,429 disk for this game. Star Trek: 25th Anniversary 1991 "my first pc game" took 8 disk. Not a slight against trek online but they had more voice. All of the voices from the orginal in fact;)

OHHH... that's sweet... the smallest one (apart from my C64) is 12 MHz/33MHz.
Do gameboys count?
No, that's what they run the SERVERS on!
Well a Iphone 4 has a 1 Ghz "1000 Mhz" in it;)
No they run a 56K modem. Actually a rack of 10 so leave them alone!

PS:
I hear this is what the runners up in the Ent-F contest are getting in lieu of the Alienware.

Y'all know we want vinyl-szied cds, right?
With 16K of RAM and a cassette drive, what more does anyone need?
Now if only I could get a Color Television to hook it up to instead of the B&W one I am currently using, it would be amazing!
