I think I would actually be able to offer a relevent opinion if the freaking server wan'ts being over loaded and giving me incredibly long load times that result in it diconnecting me.
I totally agree. I must have run it about a half dozen times, across all my characters. I don't know why people are complaining about the loading times, I haven't had a single issue at all.
I'm having loading issues too, probably because of everyone trying to get in. I had no issues earlier, but it's taking awhile right now. I'm also watching STOked Live, and they're having issues.
looks like the server is as broken as Shledon Cooper talking about his Mama. I think 50,000 shuttles going to the same system was just a bit much for the servers
I think the episode needed more Batman. But then again everything would benefit from having more Batman.
Imagine American Idol with Batman. Like someone is on stage and then suddenly BAM! Batman is on the stage beating them to a pulp before mysteriously vanishing.
After waiting a while after the server came back up to try it I have to say it did seem a little easy but i still enjoyed it. Of course when i had the squadron of fighters chasing me and had to escape I was constantly dropping Independence Day quotes as I hauled butt to the exit, so that helped make it more enjoyable....i love that movie
Okay, hort has given this advice to people and since no one has complained to him about game difficulty.
What you do is this: If you think the game is too easy, make it difficult on your own. Every time your character gets killed in the game, punch yourself in the *******. There you go. Every fight will have you sweating like you're desperate to cling to life, which you are.....
that was to easy it needed more .....what do you think?
So you played it on elite yes?
I played on elite and it was not a breeze I was destroyed at least once, hard to remember as i was booted 3 times during it.
I put tricobolt on to sort those nasty things out.
You are flying small craft, there cannot be too much battle or it would just get criticised for being far fetched. The re-inforcements was a nice idea, not doing it all alone and for such a major issue a captain would contact Starfleet for that to happen so they got that very right. Doing so supports the storyline of managing to escape in a death trap compared to what your up against. Even in the series a ship usually has to come to the rescue but at the same time this is a game so I personally think the balance was right. Even if I am annoyed about downtime lol
I like realism, I don't want a Star Fox shooter with my Delta Flyer.
It almost one shotted me with a Plasma torpedo. So used my mad engineer skills and beat it in my runabout the USS Vivaldi. I had like 5% hull left, but I got it. I was tempted to ram it. Had I been in my Excelsior, I would have.
Second run through I tried to put Dual Cannons on my shuttle to make it more dogfighty, but The Man wouldn't let me.

Nice one. For those of you who enjoy being punched their and find it a turn on, everytime you respawn you must make a small tear in your gimp suit!
Heh, I just noticed today that the default shuttle gear levels with you, so there's no need to switch out equipment with your usual ship for 5 minutes every time you switch.
It was the introduction episode of the series, presented us with a villain, the plot, and leaves us with questions. Was a pretty good start but if the following episodes are like this, forums could be up in flames
The Borg Sphere was a nice touch, - in a regular ship, you don't really get to see the scale of how truly massive they are. Also, the micronebula was absolutely fantastic.
I liked the story and liked that they borrowed some ideas from Nemesis. I liked the little extras they threw in that you could easily missed, like finding those people in the vault and being able to help them and all the different dialogue options. A welcome change to fight in a shuttle was pleasent. I had fun on this mission and look forward to the story unfolding.:)
in response to the one reminding us of a difficulty slide, you must also realize the scale is way off for maxed lvl characters. I have alts at every rank and I have tried them at all difficulty levels and at Vice admiral rank the scale is WAY off, so way off it should be called undoable for space combat (ground is a different story). My engenier has very high survivibility (she has all her skills in engeniering, shield regen etc she can last long in fights even the borg tactical cubes) and at the hardest level i died so fast in space combat it was not even funny. So to just say "adjust difficulty" with the slider isnt fair as I know it doesent work right at high levels. For lower levels yes it works great and makes it not so borring if you are leveling your 5th 6th or whatever alt up. My fed Klingon had great fun leveling this way. Haha it was halarious to fight with a near dead crew and myself with injuries galore, its nice they added acelodes for people who die alot too!! lol everyone should try it on their lower level toons. It is nice to turn it off, but i like the ability to mix things up.

Apologies for the 2x post
On a lighter note, were there any hidden accolades, or just an accolade for completing the mission?

I just ran for it

The USS TRIBBLE is a fine ship.
Not that anyone would notice the difference.
As in - If the game is too easy you can turn the difficulty and the rewards UP.
Oh, you all knew that? Ok. Carry on.
