I'm not sure if this has ever been suggested, but I recently heard some things that I want to get addressed. I recently have heard some grumblings, rumors, and heresay that Ker'rat was going away.
Can someone please confirm these rumors are true?
If they are true, I would like to request we save it in some way.
I would like to propose (if the map and mission cannot be fixed), that the developers just remove the mission, but leave leave the map there with the PvE aspect to it.
Just leave it open with no queues, no hassle, no team issues, no scores, no timers, no clock countdowns, no prizes, no map resets, no nothing but pure, unadulterated tactful, manipulative, and wholesome combat. maybe switch out the backgrounds from time to time so that we are mesmerized by your artistic talents for cool and unusual scenery.
Maybe even create a planet right there on the map, where people can do the same in ground battle... no timers, no map resets etc....Just people who come in for wargames with no rules and show what they are truly made of. Isn't that how it would be like in true battle? Heck, there would be fleet wars and such
Don't add anything to it.. ever.. no enhancements or anything, just leave this big open area as a "dev off limits" area for creation

I have a feeling that this place would never be empty. This is more like how it would be if we were all in space right now.
People can enter at their own risk. People can enter at whatever risk level they want.. Elite, normal etc.. People can enter as an individual or as a group/team. I know that there would be 'bullies' in there as well as fleets who are just starting to learn.
Look at cap and hold. It, increasingly, is not being played as intended. How many times do people just go in there for the battle? When they leave Ker'rat and go to cap and hold, but don't play the mission, aren't they going just for the change in scenery? mhmm yup
Oh, and don't allow spawn camping... give a grace period after death where they can't be touched or make it so that they can't be attacked during initial spawn if any enemy is within 20KM.. give them that immunity to get away.
Anyway, I just wanted to propose this. We don't always need a mission.

Who agrees with this?

Yup, right alongside "DEFCON 1, 'nuff said"
Though, it is eerily close to SOE's tactic of "Don't fix it, destroy it" when players abuse something. Not exactly the best practice.
