Why not start a new char and see if one could go from starter ship to Vice Admiral using only shuttles and at max 2 Boffs (ostensibly either partner agents or holograms) for the whole ride?
The idea being to wear futuristic unis and fly a Delta Flyer (in lieu of a timeship) and pretend to be Temporal Agents.

Crazy no?
That's a lot of time investment, considering the amount of deaths you're bound to have
Could be worse, I knew a guy who refused to have his character wear personal shields, since he felt they weren't canon enough. There have been times Ihave considered digging up my Constitution class for a B'tran run

Three days later they found the data recorder.
"We have a Borg Cube warping in! AHHHHH! *static, weapons fire* "Pulling the hot Handel! I repeat, punching out!"
Of the nine hours recorded on the flight recorder, this message is repeated one-thousand, four hundred and seventy eight times before it is too damaged, or became too apathetic to it's own repeated deaths that it stopped recording

So you have a flight recorder with Temporal Shielding?

It would only be logical for a Temporal Agent to be equipped with a Chronometric Black Box, would it not?
We'll just call it a canned-laughter generator.
