Don't leap into furniture that isn't there.

I have the habit of jumping into or at least falling willingly onto my furniture. It's the quickest way to laying down on the bed/couch/chair whatever. It makes the furniture not last but it's worth it.

However, I just walked into a pitch black room wanting to sleep on the comfy chair so naturally I jumped into it. It wasn't there! I hit the wooden floor with a reverse body slam. It hurt!

Anyways tell me if you want to know any more things completely irrelevant to you guys. :p

I once came home from working a double shift after having also had a call with the FD. After 4 additional hours of rolling hose I went home, aimed at my bed and fell asleep on my feet, missed and hit the floor face first.

Woke up like 10 hours later with a hurt nose and pride.

Never missed the furniture, however I was walking home from work a few nights ago, got halfway down some stone steps, and forgot how to walk for about a minute.

In my house that sort of thing would have you sitting on the floor.
