PWI - Discussion on a server merge

in a short time prospective yes pvp server can have negative returns...

in a long time prospective, just see harshlands and lost city servers...

pvp servers are most populated, most challenging, most attractive servers to play aaand for a company point of view: more challenge = more cs : D

i have a full r9 char on pvp server TOO BAD THEIR TIME ZONE FOR EVENTS IS JUST SO BAD FOR US EUROPEANS... an english pvp server if advertised adeguatelly in north europe locations can bring A HUGEEEEEEEEE AMOUNT OF PLAYERS

anyway whats the point of another pve server since the instances where u farm or exp (if u r a lowbie) u just cant get pked into them?!

also the game farm is all about nation wars, so lets even say that pve is dead....
at least u can train yourself and improve your skills in farming nation wars by practicing pk @ silver pool or west game for example : Eek:

because we all signed up for pve, not pvp, or we wouldn't be here. the real question is why did you join pve if you wanted pvp? i'd say it's your loss, not ours.

i was white named @ zhen spots along with hextic ramrod and others when eu servers were kind of alive 1 year ago.

for our playerbase, we need new server to be pvp.

or u can wait a new server pvp ... maybe in another year u can go back to play

Terribale idea. If i wanted play on Mg i will make charcter there. Dont unerstand what reson? Nathonal war will be only for R9 and other ppl going in others games/

Read most comments, yes since is a merge, most people has more chars than EU servers can hold (8) in ea. one, I particularly have low levels,but I agree that you should...

- Use the merged server as an experimentation ground for new features, thinking about it being multilingual.
i.e. option to toggle languges in game, those were european servers, english is not a first option, i used to play cause i wanted to learn other languages,and the aggressive comments this is an english server 'suc ks', makes english speakers look ignorant or afraid of something new. In the servers wars would be great to not understand what the other is planning advantage to any other language.
you should be able to use international keyboard configuration, for chars not in a us config keyboard, that other languages use.

- In case the players have more than 8 chars, offer the possiblity to trf gear and valuables to another server or offer the zen used + 15 % to be used on that merged server

- I also played on those servers cause the market was kind of fit, and had the option to get rare pets, without much effort allowing me to know at least that part of the game, that in much crowded servers is just a purchase option.

in that sense just merge the servers but leave it as an european server, and enable a new server, or much better I read somewhere that spanish server for latinoamerica was to be closed, I think it was tru aeria games -

want more money make those servers multilinguial globe servers, and start marketing europe and iberoamerica (spain and latinamerica, might include brazil and portugal) with special offers... on that language,

YOUR OFFER TO BE AN ENGLISH SERVER SU CKS - if you do not work for the game to be improved or upgraded, then at least have it available to all other markets, USA pff too many servers already with high lvls, I can advise you of some good companies interested on provide services in those markets and make a good agreement to get your company in those markets.

You can't make 2 chars with same name on EU servers.

Servers share name databases per location, actually.

It's differentiated by west coast, east coast and European servers. This means you can not have a character of the same name on more than one of the servers in these groups:


-Heavens Tear, Sanctuary, Lost City & Archosaur

-Harshlands, Dreamweaver & Raging Tides

-Lothranis & Momaganon
