  • Dunno why you'd think that. Running dungeon squads with faction members is still just as much fun as always.
  • Thanks, that's useful. I did know about the weapon characteristics and was trying to decide whether to try for an Aquadash rather than sticking with swords. Is your magic attack affected by the max weapon attack? Some of the heal skills are based on a percentage of 'base magic attack', whatever that is.
  • Does this mean that gearing up your own damage will increase the summon's damage?
  • bh69. I'm playing mystic in DD role. barb, archer, bm, cleric, seeker in squad. Barb doesn't use FR. BM doesn't HF. Seeker only uses debuffs once asked. I pulled aggro from them when damage dealing. <facepalm> HTF does a lvl80 mystic pull aggro when there is lvl81 barb, 79 archer and bm?
  • Levelling is one thing. Making enough money to afford skillbooks is another . . . <-- really a noob. The greatest demand for purify that I've seen (my level - chars from 70-81) is in bh69 with Pole. Any cleric high-enough to be in that BH has Purify but I've not seen a single Mystic in there over lvl83.
  • That's a 1 in 4 chance with a single-target spammable skill, and only available to toons over lvl 89. Or go demon and have a 1 in 3 chance with a slow-casting aoe heal. Not exactly the same as a skill that is 100% successful and is available from lvl29, is it?
  • Could you post details of this (skills, use etc) in the Mystic section? It's sadly short of detail and I'd quite like to know how to make the most of my mystic.
  • Clerics have two very important skills: BB and purify. No other healing class has anything like these. BB reduces damage by a massive amount. Purify removes debuffs There are some dungeon instances that are very very hard to to without Purify (BH69 being one). BB is a zoned aoe skill. If party members move out of range of…
  • Blacksmith, auctioneer, catshops (the cats standing on their tails; these are player's shops).
  • Gosh, what a useful and informative response. So, I shouldn't use Vital Herb because it is useful in squads? Really, really don't see how that makes it useless when soloing a boss. "I'm not a veno" Thank you for informing me. I was wondering why I couldn't tranform into a fox or tame anything.
  • The game is good if you like co-operative play in squads. That doesn't really start happening until you are level 49 at least. Then you start running Bounty Hunter quests every day, always with a squad. Try not to get into the habit of doing these with a very high level helping out. It's much more fun and you learn more if…
  • Less squishy, yes, but this is only a factor in boss fights. Fighting normal mobs of about the same level, a seeker kills them in 4 aoe attacks. Unless you really mess up, the mobs won't kill you.
  • Not playing my barb, but in a squad with two barbs. Who insisted on using human form and not bothering with FR in BH and killing normal mobs. DDs dead 3 times, cleric dead once. <facepalm>
  • I've experienced it. Got to bosses (no barb in squad). "who is going to tank" I can "No we need a proper tank" I can pull and tank. ffs, what they mean is they want either a barb or a DD who can hold aggro. Players who have always run FB and BH with a very high levelled player to do all the work. And to the semi-troll;…
  • Do you have your hands over your ears? The forum and this thread are full of people complaining about not being able to do quests in there. The threat of a ban seems to have solved the issue in Dreamweaver. Nobody pvping in there last night.
  • This has happened to me - I killed them - but no idea what to do next and autopath doesn't take me to the npc
  • What, you mean I have to learn how to play the game? That's just unreasonable! ;) Thanks for the advice
  • You can't solo all the way through this game. Make friends - it's surprisingly easy. Look on world chat for factions that take low-level members. They'll help you when needed and you'll have people to talk to. As for most fun? Depends how you like to play. Barbs can be fun and are always in demand in BH squads. Clerics are…
  • Seems I pull aggro if I attack anything - not enough barbs around.
  • pvp is enabled in the Secret Passage. Being PKed like that will now result in 3-day ban See http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?p=18136741#post18136741
  • Try disbanding the squad, all leave the instance. Or even just the leader who tabbed leave squad and return. the tab should reappear in their backpack and they can retab.
  • Rank IV archer gear is -int, for 50 000 coin. With enough rep you can have that at lvl60
  • If I'd known . . Don't skip one man army quests. Combine them with other quests. Later on you'll be desperate for Rep
  • Aim low and stun? Thank you for that tip, will try those.
  • There are a load of quests that require you to go through SP entrance. I tried 3 times on Sunday with a low-level archer. Each time was one-shotted as soon as I entered. Players are just being utter ****. Well, I'll try again tonight, with the screenshot option up as I enter. If people pk me, I'll go back and screenshot…
  • That seems backwards. An archer who pulls aggro from an exploding mob is pretty much mashed potato then.
  • soz - didn't read title clearly enough
  • Level 9x sin helping out in BH59. Pulls a stack of the exploding mobs and comes running back towards rest of squad, which includes the cleric. I think "argh, the mobs will blow up and kill cleric", so jump in with my Seeker, spam aoe and kill the mobs - which kills me and the sin. Sin then explains that they'd arranged…
  • I'm not entirely sure I agree. I started a new toon last week - an archer. Now lvl49. Seeded it with 10k from another char (so I could get a pickaxe and pots). That archer has 600k and I've levelled all essential skills. Sure, that's not enough to start getting TT60 gear. But it's not stony broke either.
