695 prestige, 295 influence here, so yeah it doesn't stop.. Also : In character sheet, for warding lvl, says "Damage from (ur level) mobs will be reduced by" So that indeed plays a role. If someone equips gear and goes fight lower level mobs then him/her, these defense level won't apply, making gear look bad..

I also noticed that it does seem to apply to just lvl 100 mobs and up (Warding lvls) as indicated. My barb went to tank a bh79 and seemed to get more damage in the new PvE gear.. Tests and more tests coming up soon....
