What really grinds my gears... is when a cleric is complaining. Dont complain. Their choice of weapons is their own, not yours. And i dont see why having Cala Axes should be a big deal/problem. IMO, archers can tank, regardless of what others say. But really depends on your gear as well. Personally i test myself in FB areas, usually against mobs cause of their "stronger" abilities.
