as many have said, depents on your playing style. i am arcane with few points in VIT(my first character and read it brings more survability). Anyway from what I read on Venomancer guides Heavy/Arcane might work better than light.

Robe is my way to go. Guess I just enjoy high-dmg spells(some points to VIT too)
