  • R9r (first recast) has no transfer cost. You just need to accumulate the necessary amount of Cannys & Raps from NWs to buy summer wind tokens. Weapon damage increase on R9r is negligible but full set gives 10 more attack levels, more HP, more crit and much better phys/mag defense compared to standard R9. You would be nuts…
  • If this change only affects PVE... then this is unusual. I've tested Seekers Edged Blur (which is also a DoT that bypasses def lvls and AD) in duels and it definitely takes into account attack levels there. Also over on the Psy forums they have been testing their immune bypassing DoT (namely Telekinesis) as well and it…
  • Ha Ha... well trolled sir. Well trolled... b:victory
  • Metal skills were never able to zerk before so that's definitely new. GoF does hit your HP hard, particularly when aoeing big pulls... that's why most Seekers get Sin BP for FC, Delta, etc to save on charm... unless Cleric's BB is available. If you happen to PVP on the hand... nothing beats GoF crits for big spike damage.
  • Fair enough on the numbers. But my previous point on R9 any class vs under geared players being over powered still stands... particularly in NW where you have any number of lvl 60s to 90s taking part (not saying you are under geared, but can't speak for other 19 b:chuckle). It would have been over in one shot (not just…
  • Ha... speak for yourself. There is something to be said for the occasional Leeerooy Jeeenkins !! moment. b:laugh Plus... personal contribution is also calculated based on the total level of soul force of the opposition compared to your own. That is... the tougher the opposition... the higher your personal score will be. So…
  • Well I can certainly agree that if you're sage Sin... the fight just got a lot harder for Seekers and just about everyone else... lol. 66% tidal proc and self purify when shadow escaping is just plain broken. b:surrender
  • See corrections for truer picture... and even then I still think the you're exaggerating the numbers somewhat. (tanking twenty at the same time ?) b:shutup
  • Only problem here is that with blade affinity cool down reduced to 30 secs, most seekers now get to spam it on all their long channeling skills such Gemini and ion spike. My point is that if you wait for the channel animation to react, chances are you are already dead. b:pleased Also, if you plan to stick on them like…
  • It's a huge damage boost for Seekers with any attack levels, whether it be Nirv G16, R9 or just plain wearing a Jones blessing. Reason being that... unlike other skills in PVP... defense lvls of opponents do not neutralize attack levels when applied to Edged blur. EB's damage bypasses def lvls, AD, damage reduction skills,…
  • Nothing at all going on. On DW, Flame was the winning nation tonight. And by a substantial margin too...
  • A LOT better... lol. In the past EB just seemed so bleh... not a bad skill but mainly useful it seemed for knocking Sins out of stealth and forcing them to either back off of you when apsing or die... or perhaps catching an Invoking Barb in TW at really low health. But it's damage in general was so weak unless sparked that…
  • Sound advice. However now that Seekers have finally been around long enough for people to finally learn how to play the class... a Seeker losing to a Sin today is almost akin to a Psy losing to an aps BM. b:shutup
  • Looks like the Phoenix upgrade can be gotten from Nation Wars... which is good news for Venos, I suppose. • Tonight in NW, my R9 Seeker Ion Spike zerk critted a G16 Barb for 23K. b:avoid
  • Wow... Seekers get the blame as well just because your 100 year old computer runs like **** ? The class really can't catch a break. b:surrender
  • Maybe the dislike for it has to do with the long cool down (for a healing skill) and the fact that when it becomes available with less than 40% HP on your health bar... chances are you are already in deep trouble and likely stun locked too so you can't use it anyway ? I wouldn't say it's useless though since... once you…
  • Sure... 3 R8 Sins could kill a R9 +12 Seeker... if he was afk with no charm. AD/Fortify > Edged Blur > 3 dead R8 Sins.
  • Ah.. ok. I also noticed there was no mention in the translation about whether or not carrying the flag contributed to your personal score or not. Albeit that may be tied to damage taken since whomever is running the flag will be on the receiving end of a lot of hits more often than not. On the other hand if you carrier the…
  • "time spent in the battleground" This needs a bit further clarification. Do they mean, the more time spent in the battle ground, the higher the score ? Or is it the opposite ? The soul force reference I'm assuming to mean that the higher the soul force of the enemy you kill relative to your own, the higher your personal…
  • That "poor Seeker" as you call him is Rank 9 +12 full JoSD. You would have to be fairly new to this game if you think aps Sins are on his worry list. ijs. To answer OP's question... best classes are: 1.) Ranged/aoe classes... contribution is boosted by damage and these classes are king of the hill in that category. 2.)…
  • Cheap Raps/Cannys are here to stay dude. Just let it go...
  • I'll say this... you've just made me a believer when it comes to the Dex build for Seekers. b:chuckle When you flashed your stats on screen a couple times... was that really 280 dex ? Very impressive crits over all.
  • Solo Delta ? Pretty sure there is no gear out there that can realistically solo the instance... you,re still going to have trouble with runners slipping behind you to kill Harpy... particularly during the later stages. Anyway, pulling the coins from Delta was a **** move by PWI... good luck getting classes with high…
  • Eh... it's one thing to be unhappy at PWI for the changes they made. But what you're doing is nothing more than a source of comedy for those of us who like it. tldr ? We're laughing at you. b:bye
  • Not that I don't understand your side of the debate because I really do. But it would be remiss of me not to point out that that last sentence in your post hurts your overall argument in that it comes across as a giant dump of SOUR GRAPES. ijs
  • If you plan to do any serious PVPing then yes. End game just became hella cheap for nearly everyone and without GoF, Sins are going to have their work cut out trying to even tickle a HA class wearing full G16 set. Remember too that nearly every R9 out there will very soon be recasting their R9 with NW rewards and then…
  • This 100%. When I think of TW as it's currently played right now, I don't have a favorable view of it at all. People want to talk about strategy and things like flanking your opponents and so on. But weekly TW eventually always breaks down into nothing but the old European style battles over a bland and featureless map...…
  • On respawning, everyone got automatic Phys & mag defense buffs as well as Barb HP buffs. This was one instance where Clerics could actually have fun for a change, rather than be there as buff/healing slave !
  • Your personal score and hence final token tally also takes into account your kill count (or more precisely... damage output) as well. There would have been plenty of people in the winning side with the most lands who got reduced token awards. Me... I didn't care what was happening to the flag... I was just too busy killing…
