y u no serch 1st nub? Now that we got that out of the way... How are you adding your stats? You should be adding at least 1 dex/2 levels and a minimum of 6str/2 levels if you're only going PVE. Stats may vary of course... Is your equipment up to date? You should use Life Powders(Nectar/Golden Herb) which are a huge help.

If you like spamming skills, then dual blades are better. Dual blades/swords are better for PVP because PVP relies mainly on skills rather than normal attacks. Single blades/swords are mainly PVE. Fist = fight mages,clerics, wizards, anything with low hp/armor Sword = 1v1 Axe = AOE stun/AOE damage Spear = Mix of sword/axe Just going off on Monarch's guide here. That's their role in the "food chain." You can do the math, however you'll most likely end up with the same result as Lyndura's statistical analysis.
