Lol def lvls and mag. def are two entirely different things but I can see how it can get confusing. And yeah, it does boil down to what stats a player prefers more of.

I didn't vote because I'm not that experienced with the mystic yet. I do know that psychic's can own with their soul force skills in rank 9 and high refines. The stats of the mystic's summons scale with the mystic's own stats, so rank 9 and high refines on the mystic would make their summons very deadly.

I'm doing a vit arcane build on my mystic, capping vit at around 30-50 depending on what gear I get. So every even level I stat 1 str, 4 mag, and every odd level I stat 1 vit, 4 mag. Then 5 mag every odd level once vit hits 30-50.

IMO mystics appear kinda OP at the moment: spammable heals, attack/defense summon, AOE skills with debuffs, traps that could debuff/buff and be recasted within seconds, phys/earth/[wood?] buff, high damage with fast channeling (in fact, the beginning skill is nearly spammable), and more... The DP system is great but IMO the only prizes that are worth getting are the Sage/Demon Event Card, the Makeover Scroll and the Medal of Glory. lol you can't trade or drop anything while safety lock is on. you can reduce the safety lock timer but it takes 3 days to go into effect.

PK still goes on PVE servers although it may not have as many PKers. There's also TW... But yeah, I don't think wizards will die out. They are still needed for RB/GV and I've come across squads that prefer wizards over psychics.

I pk people because it's fun and it's something to do in the game besides merchanting, BH, and Frost runs. It's rarely anything personal and I try not to camp anyone specific really unless they provoke me.
