i have a problem with my main account, its always getting bug report after 4-6 hours.
when i open task manager i can see that element client building bites up going from 500mb up to 4gb then it crash, bug report.
already sent a ticket they cant really help, its only happened on my main account.
thats what i try to do according to pw support:
1) First, shut down your PC and wait a few minutes. Then restart your PC.

2) Start the game, click on the Verify button on the game launcher menu,
click on Yes, and let the game verify that your game client's files match
the server-side versions of the files. It will also redownload any files
that don't match.

3) This will take some time. Please be patient.

4) After this process is done, try to get into the game again and see if
the same issue(s) occur. If this does not help, please let us know for us
to assist you further.

next:
Please download the latest display drivers digitally-signed by WHQL from http://www.geforce.com/drivers and kindly note to avoid downloading and installing drivers that are still in their beta stage as it may cause various issues.

After updating your drivers, please make sure to select the correct graphics card as default. To do that, kindly follow these steps:
1. Right-click on your desktop and select "nVidia Control Panel"
2. Click Manage 3D Settings
3. Choose the Global Settings tab
4. Prioritize the High-performance NVIDIA processor

next:
- Run Arc and the Game launcher as Administrator
- Set the Compatibility of PWI
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ph/windows/make-older-programs-run#1TC=windows-7

You can also try creating a new Windows user account and run PWI there or try to re-install on the new Windows user account.

next:
From the Arc client, click the 'Play' button for PWI
On the PWI launcher, click the 'Graphics' option on top
Check 'Windowed' and choose the lowest available Resolution
Uncheck the rest of the options (Shadows, Sharpen, V-Sync, etc)
Set all the sliders to L (Lowest)
Click 'Confirm'
Click 'Start'

well after that they said that they dont know how to fix that.

The dxdiag does't give a lot of info, but everything there looks fine.

After you exclude the full client folder from your antivirus, run verify three times and then reboot. If there's still an issue after that, I'll need a link to a published Speccy report.

What class is the character which consistently crashes? NRG found a memory leak for BMs, and I suspect venomancers also have a memory leak (my main, a veno, consistently crashes)

You have the Skype Click-2-Call add-in installed. It's known to cause an issue with the client.

You're using MSE for your Antivirus. I strongly recommend using real software for that. Don't forget to exclude the client from it also.

If that then fails, I would recommend completely wiping the client from your system and re-installing it. Be sure to completely disable the Antivirus when you are doing so, and then exclude it again once it's installed.

also another question should i uninstall skype 2 call?
and i already reinstall the client and it didnt help.

Avast will automatically disable MSE when it installs since they cannot be run at the same time.

Yes, you should un-install the Skype add-in. It should show separately in Programs and Features to un-install. If not, then completely remove Skype, and un-tick the option for it when you are re-installing. It is known to cause the client to crash when it's installed.

The screenshot only shows the Arc folder excluded. If your game installation folder is inside the Arc folder, then you're good. If not, you'll need to exclude it also.
After it's fully excluded, you will need to once again verify three times, as any verify done before it was excluded would be invalid. (same would go for re-installing it. MSE would have killed some of the files if it was able to see them.)

With Arc, you can run ArcRepair.exe.

Many people is suffering this since Storms update. No matter what OS are you using, no matter anything cause is a server side issue. All people suffering this begin to suffer it the same day. SO ITS A SERVER SIDE ISSUE. I had windows xp with 4gb ram, with the issue, i tried on windows 7, and also tried on windows 8 8gb ram. Clean game install. SAME ISSUE ALWAYS. SAME CHARACTER ALWAYS. ONLY THAT CHARACTER. SO, ITS A SERVER SIDE TROUBLE.

Oh sure, because the server totally controlls how much RAM is used on your PC. b:chuckle
    Are you really that stupid?

Did you fix your AV software like SylenThunder said?

It's more likely to be a CLIENT issue with some specific thing you have on that character. Could be an actual bug in the CLIENT, but it's going to be on the CLIENT and not on the server. It was posted earlier here that there is a known error with some of the CLIENT code for a couple of classes.

Also, SylenThunder is out here trying to help you guys resolve it. Why you rage so?

If its a client side, why its only to some chars, why always same chars, i have 14 chars, and it happen only to 2 of them, after the same ammount of time, and when i say Server side i mean, its not a USER TROUBLE, its a game trouble, not fixable by the user, and non Antivirus, OS, cliente RAM available, fresh or not install. Its a trouble of the game, not a trouble of the user.

And you can be sure server can affect RAM usage, by sending more and more info or by getting the data into a loop due to a bad compilation or code. SO DONT TALK ABOUT WHAT YOU DONT KNOW.

And you can call stupid to your father if you finally find him...

Should educate yourself a bit before throwing the stupid around.

GingerSprite is right about it being a client-side issue.
Also, just because it only happens on select characters, does not mean that it's server-side.

It is entirely possible that it's an issue with the code in the client. NLGRG found code problems with a couple of characters. (Ginger mentioned this as well.) However, it's possible that a solution may be found on the user side, IF we can get enough information on the issue.

Also, you are absolutely incorrect about the server affecting RAM usage. That is entirely on the client. Anything "getting the data in a loop" would be entirely on the side of the client, and is most commonly caused when you have incompatible codecs, other incompatible software running, or other software that is interfering with the functionality of the client. (In the latter, the most common causes are Anti-Virus software and the Firewall.)

The more you speak, the more you show your ignorance.
If you want assistance, then provide the requested information, and I'll troubleshoot it just as I did for the OP. If you are still having an issue with the specific characters after that, then we need detailed data on those toons to try to determine what it is about them that is causing the problem.

At that point, we would have a lot more luck in narrowing down the ultimate cause. It could be something as simple as a data bug in a piece of fashion that the toon has equipped.

Sylen why do you tell me the "Should educate yourself a bit before throwing the stupid around." to me, when the other guy was the one who called me stupid and i was just answering him?

You are not fair with me, do you?

And as i said, when im saying "Server side fault" i mean "PWI fault" not "the guy playing/PC fault".

Try to read carefully before answering

And im just telling that many people with this issue have tried on different pcs, diferent antivirus, different OS, diferent Directx X version, different graphic drivers, different Graphic cards, and still same trouble with same char. So it CANT be a trouble with any of them. AV software, Firewall etc.

And if it was an, in example, AV trouble, it would affect ANY char, not always and only SAME char.

i can say that i still had bug report after i follow syln orders, but i can say that this bug report gone after the upadate last maint we had, like 2 days ago.
si i believe that they are trying to fix it for everyone else also, its clearly something from pwi side, maybe they dont know how to solve the issue yet for everyone.
as nrg say b4, could be a leak of memory for few chars.

Yes, seems to be fixed on last update, which is a proof of that this was a pwi issue, not a player issue. AS I SAID.
