ok...so whats the trick for adding a forum signature? does it have to be a particular format? png,, gif..etc?


have tried to add sig. several different ways, but it doesn't show up correctly/

    I know you might feel stupid after I state this, but if you look at the bottom of the page on the Signature Editing page. There is a part called "Signature Permissions". Under it you should notice that a ton of BBCode is disabled. Namely the ones I noticed that you tried to use in your signature.

    The only image you can use is that of the one you upload, using the sigpic bbcode.

    You literally put this BBCode down to use your uploaded signature.

    thank you, yeah I saw all the permission things at the bottom. Didn't know about adding the sig/pic thing. idk maybe someone has made a "how to" post somewhere..lol

    Nah, they actually do put a link in place to add the sigpic BBCode, but they put it in a really awkward location where it's hard to notice it. They didn't bother to make it look like a button or anything.

    If you look to the right of the image you uploaded, there is a message that says "Insert Signature Picture". Clicking on that inserts the sigpic BBCode.

    Don't know how much longer any of this will be useful though, considering they're moving us to that new forum one way or another in the future.
