    Is archo server selectively down? I cant log in. Whenever I try I get server error.
    Anyone else experiencing this now? ;o b:shocked

    I know I have more chance of getting blood from a stone than this but its worth a shot I guess..

    Any GM can update on the situation? (And don't say connection problems as we kinda figured that out already)

    I havent had any problems, went and logged alt on just to test if it works and it did. I dont know what problems you might experiencing but PWI doesnt seem to be the cause of it.

    Short Explanation: Was gone, but I have logs which show...nothing that could verify the point of a problem.

    Long Explanation: My ISP is BHN (which uses Time-Warner Cable's backbone), my logs (while I was gone) show very significant drops from both them and telia.net. I also saw mild drops happening from pnap.net and PWE. This could be a few things. If the path returned was the same or nearly the same, any packet loss shown from pnap or PWE could've been lost at telia.net or my ISP, resulting in it looking as if PWE was at fault. If the path was not the same (and was not having issues), then pnap and PWE were actually dropping packets. At best it was moderate because it only had a 35% packet drop rate. Telia had a 70% loss for me most of the time and I even spotted a point where it was 100% loss.

    Summery: What this sums up to is, meh. There was definitely a problem somewhere. Although it looked like everything was having issues from my point of view. It wasn't just one thing, it was seriously everything except my router.

    Someone went and broke one of the internet pipes and the data was leaking into the data ocean. Will probably need to have some specialists come in with soap to clean off all of the animals covered in the leaked data.

    I've oddly been disconnecting way too frequently.
    Sadly, I'm not the only one either.

    At first I thought it was my net, since my alts D/C at the same time, but when I saw others going through the same thing.... yeah b:sad

    Too many people dcd from all over the world for it not to be pwi :< On skype 100% of my pwi friends also dc'd :< only a few ppl from forums didn't have an issue

    I have had intermittent spurts of significant lag, but every trace I've run shows it's either the AT&T regional node in Ohio, or the international node in LA dropping packets. It got pretty bad a couple of times with most of the connections between Colorado and California dropping.

    Current round-trip in-game ping is 251ms, which is a bit higher than normal, but not bad.

    NLGRG and I both have sticky threads in the Technical Support forum that can help you narrow down your problems.

    It was mostly the international node in LA having the issue, which isn't PWE, but affects a large number of people.

    My catshops never DC'ed, but the round-trip ping was pretty bad for a while.

    I was not being routed through the internal LA node this time around. I think anyone using Time-Warner cable may also have been experiencing issues due to a backbone node problem, that is actually still ongoing.

    Germany here. When I got dc yesterday (and lost all connections to west servers), I located the node which lost all packages somewhere in NY. There was no way to circumvent this node for my tools. Thb, didn't check details, connection was stable again after less than 10mins anyway. It wasn't a prob of pwe/pwi servers for sure, almost no cat shop in Archosaur got dc, I checked that after coming back.
