Server merge by November?

I've been hearing from a few people that the PVP servers are going to be merged together (Harshlands & Lost City) and PVE servers would merge with other PVE servers by November 2015

Is this a rumor or something that's gona be happening?

    I've heard half-life 3 was confirmed.

    But on a more serious note, the pvp servers we have are on east and west coast, merging them? Nah.

    Some servers could be merges, although i' m not sure which ones due to which have shared name databases and which don't, but it's a rumor. Just like most of the things people say.

    merging east and west coast servers?

    seems quite unlikely..database problems galore!

    I dont know if its true but i think it would be awesome the top factions of other servers coming together to compete, possible new factions coming together, being able to meet new people.

    Nope. Not happening. Don't believe rumors and generally stupid stuff folks randomly tell you if they can't provide an actual source to back up their claims.

    If it were real, there would be a Sticky/Arc News Post/FB-Twitter post.

    Besides, even though a few could, the hardware likely couldn't take the load.

    Because of the way the databases have been set up, we are more likely to see servers shut down than merge. Both are garbage options, but nothing "garbage-like" surprises me from a company like PWE/ARC.

    From what has been said in the past, East and West servers cannot be merged at all.

    The merging of the EU servers seems to have gone off pretty well and revived things quite a bit over there. Here in 'Murica I'd say Archosaur seems to be the most likely to be merged with another - small population and numerous problems.

    To be exact, All the PVE Server on East will merge to make 1 PVE server and 1 PVP Server, same for west

    So for east coast u will have 1 PVE AND 1 PVP SERVERS same for WEST COAST. b:chuckle

    The east coast servers have enough troubles as it is. I am sure they would explode and cause a nuclear meltdown if they were to merge another server with it.

    PWI cant pony up the money to have sustainable servers as it stands right now. A merger will only happen, when they cant afford to keep them up and running, and they would probably just shut them down, rather then merge.
