Lag spikes and players in server

PW staffers,

1. Lag spikes ? every day at the same time ? Coincidence, not.

2. Harshlands members are again calling for a server merger. Morai server or whoever.

If players cannot login or server population is too low, then let me buy out the game.

    Bring back proof otherwise no one is interested in more of this. There have been so many of these kinds of threads in the last few weeks and so far no one has proven it to be PWE's fault. There have been some very faulty pathways on the net lately that are to blame so far.

    2. I don't think this belongs here, but what proof do you have that lots of people are calling for a server merger? Do you have actual statistics? This sounds like an arbitrary assertion based on anecdotal evidence composed of statements made by, what I assume to be, a handful of loudmouths.

    Edit: OPKossy or any mods reading this; I recommend this thread to be moved to General Discussion. The person in this thread is not interested in technical support. They just want to whine and moan while solving nothing. The perfect type of thread for General Discussion.

    1. If I could get the most tangible evidence, it would be access to PW servers and their ISP. 2nd best evidence is the ping on my client. Any other discussion on ping is a red herring.

    2. Regarding the status of people in Harshlands: Apparently, you are not in Harshlands, yet you feel appropriate to find all theorectical ways to slime what I wrote.

    To sum up, you're out of your league.

    I didn't "slime" what you wrote. I made an observation based on your lack of evidence with a biased assertion tagged on.

    A majority in favor of a merger between Harshlands and Morai would entail

    1) A majority on Harshlands being in favor of playing on an Central European time zone server, or a majority on Morai being in favor of giving up their Central European time zone server, to be replaced by an Eastern time zone one

    2) A majority on Harshlands being in favor of playing on a PVE server, or the majority on Morai being in favor of playing on a PVP server

    3) A majority on both Morai and Harshlands being in favor of the merger.

    And this doesn't even consider technical difficulties... (The Morai merger didn't come off without hiccups, and they shared a name server, a condition that doesn't apply to Harshlands with any other server.)

    Considering that the vote was against making Morai a PVP server when Lothranis and Momaganon merged, at least one of those is demonstrably false. I seriously doubt any of those are true, though I can believe that a majority of EU based players on Harshlands are in favor of such a merger.

    The server issue of merger and low population is the result of PW ineptness.

    If they dont fix the lag, then there will be so few people that the game might as well shut down.

    Your merge statement is false. You're also not providing much evidence of your claims. There are many tools that can be used to show precisely what's going on during such times without you needing to have direct access to PWI's servers. In addition, the ping/FPS displays ingame aren't always the most accurate things around compared to other tools that can measure both far more adequately.


    If you actually would like to receive technical assistance, please follow up on providing some more detailed information from the time the error occurs. You can learn how to provide said information from this and this thread.

    If you don't wish to provide any additional information and are simply making a thread to whine, disregard this message so that I can close this next time I check it.
