server errors

Dear Pwi i wont complian about lag because i get that its al on our own side its a fault at player i get that pwi wont take responsability for that in my eyes its bad for the game but ok
my biggest problem is with server errors do doesnt matter where i log in west north east south llost city plume i always get server errors and yes i did reinstall game twice did verify both time,s and still get them or ar server errors our fault to and do we run some kind of ghost server on our pc,s maybe wil wil see probally get response that is on our end to from sylenthunder or post wil be removed by opkossy i gues but try to fix it pls and thanks

    It's not PWE's fault 99.9% of the time, so why should they take responsibility? The times they have been at fault, I've said that they were at fault. It's very rare and usually only occurs when data traffic is far above average, such as a TW happening.

    There's an incredibly strong possibility you have a file watcher of some sort that is causing the problem. Most likely it will be in the form of anti-virus software. Although running something like a real-time file sync system, such as DSyncronize, may also cause problems.

    Every case of the "Server error" that keeps you from pretty much doing anything, has been narrowed down to either security software on the PC, an issue with the modem/router on user end, or a problem with the packets being dropped in-between you and the server.

    Or at least, every case that I've been given information on, or have personally troubleshooted on my end.

    my client is excluded in my virus scan i run on difgital high end cable internet modem is like 4 feet away from pc and cable is brand new my system can run pwi with no trouble 16 gig of memorey two gtx 690 in sli mode 120 gig ssd wich only has os on it and os related software 2 2 gig harddrive and a i5 3750 k so bassiclly i can run each game in high perfomace except pwi wich is the only only mmo wo gives me problems al other online game,s do work without anny problems what so ever so i dont think problem is at my end or do i have a problem at my end wich only happens with pwi must be a problem wich dont like pwi thenb:laugh

    That's great, except that most of that stuff doesn't really matter when it comes to PW. I've explained it before in a fair amount of detail why PW will never run fantastically. Just know that poor game engine architecture is to blame. That issue is something completely different though. Let's stay on the topic of server error though.

    There's a log in your PW installation folder called "EC.log" in the logs folder. Would you mind putting it on pastebin or something. I'm pretty sure I could figure out the problem based on that file alone. Assuming you've had "Server Error" since the file was created.

    for years same hardware, same os, same software, same isp.
    expansion comes along and suddenly tons of people from different countries have server error.
    naturally we conclude that it is not pwi, but the fault of the users or their isps.

    So as it appears it is bigger than we all thought. I just hope they do catch the idiot, But I really doubt it.

    Good luck to you all. Pleas Be patient It really is just a game. I hope this information has helped many QQ an those Blaming PWE, cause as you see no matter what PWE is not at fault. This is just as stressful an aggravating to them as it is to the players.
