Am curious is it considered an offense that during event a DUSKBLADE sealing other player to stop them attacking mobs in smoke over arch event

I dont think this should be allowed and would like an answer as to whether this behaviour is allowed or acceptable during event to stop people getting kills.

    Only way I know of to do this is by use of the Expel genie skill. Set your buff filters so that it only allows buffs from faction members and party members, that should prevent douchebaggery like this.

    TY wasnt sure if could set but its ridiculous a player to use against another during event to limit kills and wasnt sure if genie skill or taking skill from other toon to apply to me :/

    P.S. Support staff doesn't browse the forums. If you were uncertain of rules and another player couldn't help you, you'd have to submit a ticket asking for clarification.

    Why would it be against the rules? If killing people who have pvp enabled at events isn't, I don't see why sealing people would be.

    PvP is not enabled am blue name trying get kills in smoke over ARCH EVENT and being sealed so i cant attack anyways ty for ahem cough splutter choke help.

    Buff filters. Use them. It's not douchebaggery it's laziness/inexperience on the part of the guy getting expelled. If it still happens after you set buff filters correctly then yes submit a ticket, because yes then something is up.

    If you don't know how to set up buff filters correctly please ask I'm happy to show you.

    These kind of questions even if you submitted a ticket the response would be that this is a gameplay inquiry and support would point you to the forums to ask other players.

    Forum mods aren't there to help answer your gameplay questions although they do that anyway. They're there to administer the forums.

    You had your question answered yet almost a week later you're back raging about the lack of response from mods in a passive-aggressive sarcastic way?

    its a DB skill as i have asked other players and raging i think not for you to be even passing comment,filters DONT work on genie skill uniformed as you are. always a troll pops out with the NEED to try push someone down your time would be better spent reading a book not sitting thinking of a reply to my question dont you think also check dates maybe? a week no sir 4 days with no reply as such on the issue is why i said TY but you enjoy your day troll through threads see who else you can reply to b:dirty

    1. Filters do work on genie skills - test it yourself grab someone with an expel genie, ask them to expel you, then set filters and ask them to expel you again. Post back when you realise you were wrong.

    2. Even if it is a Duskblade skill it only works on you in safe zone if it's classed as a buff or blessing, in which case filters will still prevent it. Again feel free to test this and post back when you realise you were wrong.

    i have asked many and have set filters and its still happening so ye and have asked support 2 days ago ofc no reply but anyways i dont expect help i just expect trolls to throw the 2 cents in where they see fit know it alls who know nothing is amusing. Please close thread as no good will come from it ty.

    Then you aren't setting filters correctly.

    You want to ensure the following two are checked;

    Buff filter- screen all neutral blessings casted on you
    Blessing filter - screen all non-squad blessings.
