Usually occurs when your PC isn't able to talk to the server due to the packets being dropped somewhere in between.

I cover this in-depth in my sticky thread and provide troubleshooting tips as well.

It's most likely a problem in the internet between you and PWI, and nothing either you or PWE can do about it.

So when this happened, there was an issue somewhere on one of the several stops your data takes before it gets to the server, or vice versa.

Seriously, read this, and follow the instructions.

thank you for responding...but, like your post says, STEP 1 was the first thing i did before posting this. I only found tons of people with same problem and no solutions. And the other STEPS, well it does not show me anything about this ''timeout connection'' issue.

So, yes i'm thinking this could be a problem between server and me. But, i can't be sure of that because there is a lot people in this same situation. So it sugest that the problem could be from server. Maybe too much people online, i don't know...

    but thanks anyways....

PD: Maybe i didn't see the solution in your steps. Please let me know if there is. Thanks.

Timeout Connection is when PW couldn't establish a link with the server in time. This can be caused by numerous things, not least of which is all of the connection points between the devices on the net.

The servers only usually get major issues during TW from what I've seen lately. There have been some serious issues with major connection points on the net lately though. You may want to try what the person in this thread did to figure out that they and PW were not the issue, but a random hub, yet again.

Offhand note: I feel like I should just write a small program to do a mild test to determine if it's you, PW, or more than likely, some random point. Maybe I will...I feel like writing a more inspired, easier to understand, open source version of PingPlotter. Then again, I just pre-ordered GTA V so...I might get hooked on that instead soon.

Edit: I actually went and made a prototype. It already works quite well. I'm going to keep working on this and add the graphics and such. I've made it able to track multiple addresses at once and it's beautiful.
Edit: Okay, guess I won't have it available anytime soon. GTAV just unlocked.
