prepaid cards got accepted but no transactions registered. lost $120

i will wait a few hours relog for the 10th time the arc client, then send a ticket.
this really is frustrating to lose your actual cash.

has anyone else had trouble with legit prepaid cards recently

    From what I gather prepaid cards can take up to 24+ hours to show.

    When in doubt use PayPal (been using it regularly for over 15 years without problem), or a Visa card.

    I can verify the 24 hours bit. If that's the issue, you just might need to wait until 5pm or 9pm, whenever that store runs it's end-of-day processes.

    Also check your receipt - sometimes cashiers get lazy and scan 1 card at quantity (6?) so they only activate 1 code six times. Your receipt should have each card with it's own activation code scanned in.

    And I've heard people have problems if they try to redeem to many cards all at once.

    they activated all 6 independently as i see on the receipt.
    it all worked fine a year ago before arc. gee. heh.

    ok orangeladey had the answer: GO SLOW

    i rebooted, relogged and horsed around, then very carefully went through the whole charge sequence each card and it took them finally. it took a while but it worked.

    thx again for the ideas


    so moral of the story: arc is clunky but enough relogs and it eventually works.

    The newer game cards do not have the magnetic strip that was used to activate the cards. Activation is now by purchase. I had to send in the card #'s, where I bought them at, and the receipt # for verification. Then they gave me the ZEN. For whatever reason, PWI does not recognize their own cash exchange system. I think they are trying to get everyone to use credit/debit cards. And with hackers breaking into systems all over the world and getting that type of info, that is just something I am not comfortable with doing. So, when I want gold in the game I buy it off someone else, use a game card (although this seems to be more trouble than it's worth), or get it through the Auction Hall.
