Update error 3/11/2015

With the recent update, I am unable to update the game. The client updates and verifies, but when it tries to update the game, it appears to start, but shortly thereafter, I get a popup that says" file download appear" and options are retry or stop update.

I updated windows 7 and my antivirus (just in case). I have tried with and without firewall and anti-virus on. I have tried using just the launcher and through arc. Always the same issue. I looked at all of the pwi files and below is the only thing I could find.


The pwi/config/element fileerr text is:

2015/3/11 15:06:32Operation fails to copy file from ../config/launcher/check/./arcsdk.dll to ../launcher/./arcsdk.dll

I will submit a ticket, but I see in other areas of forums that I am not the only one with this issue. GMs/Devs, please fix this.

    I've had those errors since 2014 and I've been able to patch.

    Earliest instance:
    2014/7/23 19:04:33Operation fails to copy file from ../config/launcher/check/./arcsdk.dll to ../launcher/./arcsdk.dll


    But I am unable to patch today. Please release a manual patch.

    I moved the files to a different HDD and the client seems to be updating.


    EDIT: Update almost complete after moving files to another HDD
    EDIT2: Update complete and able to play

    I dont know the cause and dont have much help to offer but a few people I know had to delete everything and start a fresh download. Worst case scenario, this has gotten them back up and running. Goodluck b:cute

    I have multiple HDD's in my system. I moved to another drive and it worked. *shrugs*

    same error. 24 hours on update. tried all suggestions on the forum. nothing worked. please post manual patch

    Its been 5 days since the new patch was released and I am still not able to get it updatedb:surrender. Please I request PWI to release manual patches along when big updates are released. I sure have already crosed the last date for the free stuffs for first time login. I always seem to miss some cool stuffs like that becaused I am unable to get it updated. It shows an error message when the update reaches to about 85% just near the bend around the last corner in teh update screen. Then teh update screen just gets disappeared. I dont know why PWI team is noty sending manual patches for big updates. It will help peoples like me to update the game and play it hapilly.
    I repeat in my laggy laptop and a super slow net conection I have, I am unable to update it in the normal way. I request PWI team to consider my request and please provide us with manual downloads. Especially when bigger updates are being made.
    I am not going to get the cool free stuffs. I am going to miss my free stuffs because I am not able to get it updated.b:sad
