Neuma dropped but did not pick up

Was told to bring this issue here from customer service.

In a nutshell, was doing a bh in the trench and killed Brigand quickly and in mid spark moved onto Linus and noticed a blue neuma had dropped from the last kill. After killing the 2nd boss I swopped in to pick up the neuma and went through the motions but it did not tell me in chat that I had picked it up and low and behold it was not in my inventory. This is not the first time, in the past it was a black neuma that did not enter my inventory, the boss was pyro I believe. It had happened a third time back when I first started farming neuma but assumed maybe I had capped it out for the day as I did at least 10 of them in a row; this was from the low level boss.

Details I gave in the ticket were I was level 91, 2nd rebirth. It was Saturday after refresh and was at 20/20 instead of 14/20 from the previous night. Had 60+ kills for the boss quest.

Didn't find any information on the forum, through search or through google; even customer service said fixes were on the way but regardless to post it here to let the issue me heard.

    You were too slow. The thing you have to dig only stays around for about 60 seconds. It takes about 15 seconds to dig.

    Another possibility is full inventory - in which case the nuema becomes a ground item without text above it, easy to miss it laying there.

    I've had this issue happen to me too.

    I have plenty of inventory space, and clicking on the Nuema first thing after I kill the boss so I should well be within the 60 second time frame mentioned.

    My collection count also decreased from 17/20 to 16/20.

    It's happened with Poison Tail Occultist(today) and Qingzi(a while ago) for me.

    Both times, this has happened the boss has dropped other items.

    My character is currently Archer, non-rb Level 78

    I never knew this, by using this you could technically get unlimited nuemas per week on any character by absorbing them with a toon who has a full inv and then picking it off the floor with the character you want to have it. b:chuckle

    Problem is... the nuema won't fall on the floor. It goes poof.

    I've had the same idea reading that post, so ran a test today.
    Killed the boss with my main that has 0/20 absorbtion this week, absorbed nuema with my alt that had full inventory, nuema DID drop on the floor. Ran up, picked it with my main and... No cookies for you, cheater! Didn't get any nuema in my inventory.
    Back to 20 nuemas per week... b:chuckle
