Lyceum not woking

Hello- I am having trouble in lyceum and support told me to post it here. I am having trouble on two different accounts. My venos go into lyceum they attack the puffbird get pink named and the CTRL and attack pop up and when I use it I get a message that skill does not work. It does not let me take a screenshot of the error?!

It seems to be a problem since you lost the PK button.

    What do you mean that you lost the PK button?

    I usually just CTRL and click on the skill in the bar. Can you be a bit more detailed in what it is you're doing? Also, hitting the printscreen button on your keyboard will take a screenshot.

    Did you relog after being pink named from attacking puffbird?
    Are you manually clicking the skill while holding CTRL down?

    The old game set up had a circular map area icon. On that icon was the PK mode button. This new screen doesn''t appear to have one. You can look up help in game and it will show the old map icon.

    As to screenshots I can provide you with will show me in pink name in lyceum- then the CTRL shift notice to hit the guards---When this happens and I ctrl attack (yes using keyboard :)) a notice pops up that that is not functional. It will not allow me to take a screenshot!b:cry

    PK mode menu button was moved right next to hypers menu icon above your HP bar.

    You can be pink named without being in pk (thats why I asked if you relogged while being pink named, as this will put you into PK mode)
    You have to manually click your skills while holding down CTRL

    PK button is next to your hyper button above your HP & MP, the icon is either a shield or two swords, depends on whenever you are in PK mode or not.

    Ok tried again today-
    Got in PK mode(compliments of the ideas) and nothing happened. Click on ctrl and an attack nothing. Except for the message "This function does not work". It is supremely frustrating as now my character is locked in PK mode.

    Instance has been broken since it was implemented. Do not ever expect them to fix it.

    Be sure to hold control while clicking your skill. Releasing before cast will not work.

    If you entered PK using the above suggestions you should not be locked in PK mode. Once you go from pink to white you can swap back to protected mode without the usual wait time.

    To find the pk mode switch, click on the icon to the right of the lock on the top left of the screen next to your character portrait, the switch will be the 6th option down from the top on the menu that pops up. It was moved there because people would accidentally click on it and then hit okay in the old location.

    Vicious minx I am going to try again today.Thank you verymuch! The reason customer service wanted this in quality corner is because it can get adressed better by the people who can hopefully fix it. Personally in the beginning I found the auto start a great feature- think they need to bring it back. JMHO :)

    Ctrl + click means you actually have to mouse click on your skill while holding Ctrl. I remember that message about function not working popping up when doing caravan. Probably pressed Ctrl + F1-F8 keys.
    Check key bindings in options menu to see if Ctrl + F keys are bound to any non implemented functions. If so, remap key bindings as you see fit.
    I personally have my main attack skills set to keys 1-8, so they don't bring any problems when pressed with Ctrl when attacking npcs.

    Thank you it worked. So the plan is to go into pvp mode before bed. Thank You!!! I still think they should start it automatically again. Be safe all b:bye

    "Start it automatically"? When did it ever start automatically? You always had to attack the guards to start it, after taking the Rift quest.

    Actually, there is a trick to enable pk mode without 10 hours to wait to be able to turn it off.

    - enter pk enabled instance (ws, fsp, uch) in squad with friend or your alt
    - place your friend next to some npc
    - kick your friend from the squad
    - attack him with any aoe that will also hit the npc nearby
    - log off and log back in

    Trick in this is, in these instances you can attack players even being blue-named, but if you hit npc, your name turns pink automatically putting you in pk mode.
    If you relog, you stay pk enabled, but there's no 10 hours wait to turn it off. b:pleased

    You can watch this video on how to safely activate and run Lycaeum. It works for most people as far as I know. PK can be turned off once you're done.
