The ignorance of ticket staff

So apparently....they won't even take the time to look at the information of a user when you report a person as having been ****. In the past...when I would report a **** account they would actually look into the account...check IP addresses and such. Now apparently when you send in a ticket they just tell you that you have to discuss the **** account from the email of said account. So there is no more helping people that get ****...if your account gets **** guys and you can't contact support via the email of said **** account, don't expect any help. The support staff for PWE has devolved to a bunch of chickens and they just throw seed on the keyboards and hope they peck the right letters.

Your logic is so flawed I don't know where to start. Seeing as how you just kiss PWE butt on forums all day I will just say this.....I have reported MANY accounts for this problem...and in the same exact way...and they have done something about it. Now they just can't be bothered. If i really needed your help...when I have helped recover countess peoples **** accounts in the past...then I would have no business submitting a ticket in the first place. Please pedal your bad logic elsewhere I do not need any assistance I was merely making a post to inform people of the desparity of the current ticket support staff.0 -
I still can't see how people get "****"
Sharing account info, going to malicious 3rd party sites for cheap gold, bot/farm programs, easy passwords, not changing passwords frequently, not using a combination of uppercase, lowercase, numerals, symbols in passwords, making passwords that spell words, joining private servers, etc could all potentially get your account compromised. Don't do those and your risk for being "****" drops 1000%.

I understand stuff doesnt do much nowadays but I would say person who made this thread is more ignorant than stuff.
For account hacking blame is on: partial of security system and part of owners of account.
As owner of you account u needed to secure it right. Some ppl have excuse that they dont even know mail that they used to register. For those i would lock any possibility to contact support again. Next, Arc have Defender now which is very good function but no ppl hate it because its new and its hard once when they change computer need to open mail to see passcode.
next, every mail have its own security systems such as protecting it with Security Question and Phone numbers. BUT NO, people dont want google to know their phone number because google can stalk then oh no no b:shutup
So next time just protect your accounts better. People learn from own mistakes0 -

Same for me...i have never been **** but sadly not everyone is smart enough to know better then to put their information on sites that are not PWE. Either way it does happen. If you are going to actually call me ignorant you could at least spell properly. As I stated, I have helped many other people get their **** accounts back, or things that were taken from their accounts by hackers back. Not everyone is smart enough to know better, I mean come on look at some of the people that use WC.0 -

English is my 4th language and not even close to native so i don't care about spelling.

As you know words are not good proof and don't say its IP address because i have changed IP address 4 times for past 6 months because i was moving around and using different providers. Also in past 6 months i changed 3 computers so even my MAC address changed..

Because the OWNER of the account spoke to me in length. I dont make accusations unless I know its true. Unless you have something constructive to say you should probably try one of those other threads. I have known the owner of said account for awhile and they are the ones that informed me of the problem...but they can no longer access the email of said account...it is a common problem for people I am sure you can look it up and find other people that have had similar issues if you bothered to rather then getting on my thread to run your mouth to me with YOUR ignorance.0 -

You seem to be in the same boat as this other guy. What is wrong with trying to help people recover their accounts or get accounts that were stolen banned? Sorry that I actually bother to try to give a **** about other people. Not EVERYONE that plays the game is intelligent enough to know better then to not give away/share their information but they still deserve to play and enjoy this game like the rest of us. To be fair with the OP, regardless of whether the account was **** or shared, the fact is that those accounts are being used by others and that is against the rules. Heck I've even seen people selling accounts for more than one week and pwe does nothing about it, just yesterday was this guy on archosaur trying to sell some wizard rrr9 account.
Sadly and as usuall on this community I see trolls more worried of what the OP take as a **** than the fact that the people using those accounts are clearly violating the rules.
Just one thing that the OP should understand is: if pwe allowed some players to scam them on not hundred but thousands of $USD on dragon orbs some time ago... Im not surprised that they don't give a damn about some random guy account b:shutup

True story and thanks for that. Yea that is the main problem I tried to present to the "ticket GM" Sadly they are dumb and think I am trying to get help with it or something when I am merely trying to get them to shut it down...and in all fairness its not that hard to tell that the owner of the account is not the one using it. On top of which the person using the account harasses people and is just an annoyance. I remember that whole +10 orb fiasco and the sad truth is I wish I had abused it too for a slap on the wrist. Fortunately I TRY to be an honest gamer and I pride myself in the things I have gotten for myself or done in game. Hopefully they will actually fix the problem for me.0 -

I have absolutely NO sympathy for people stupid enough to share account info, not change their passwords frequently, don't make complex passwords, download mirrored games/play private servers, or go to sites not PWI related, that have 'cheap gold' or 'farm/attack bot programs'. Intelligent or not, its common sense. Knowing the maliciousness of the internet, even a tiny brain should know these things.

Exactly. On top of which...having that stance is why many people quit. I mean on top of having people like that that wont even bother to help your fellow gamer..this is a stance many people seem to have. It is bad enough people quit often, then we have all these people, some are even really good people, that can easily fall for a smart scam and have their accounts screwed with. So naturally because so many gamers take this stance that oh too bad for you, we just keep losing good people.0 -
I started by purchasing #1 Shards to combine for Average Daily Crazy Stone, only to notice after a moment or 3 I was NOT receiving Experience/Spirit for said Combining. I moved to each jewelcraftsman in Archosaur, then to Plume. I then checked to see I have still 5 Hours, 43 Minutes remaining Earning Time left today. I am used to seeing regularly Exp/6-Spirit/2 every cut, but this evening it has shut down upon me.

Just discovered a little trick. Similar to asking to speak to a supervisor you can ask to have the ticket escalated to another support staff person. I actually finally got a favorable, if generic, response. They are actually going to look into the information i sent in and maybe do something now via a new ticket GM that took over my ticket. ITS A MIRACLE!0

Sorry dude but **** once yeah they will fix it **** a 2nd time they well start to wonder **** a 3rd and more times sucks to be you get smarter about your log in stuff.0 -

Exactly, and the fact that there is multiple games should worry them even more, after all the account is an arc account so all their games are compromised.
One thing that I noticed is that at least on my server apparently this is being made massively.
2 weeks ago it was some wizard and a blade, last week rrr9 wizard and now rrr9 wizard an archer.
Heck the guy even made a toon alluding to the sale the rrr9 archer and has been spamming this whole time O_O0 -
