TW and issues with LAG

NO it wasn't on my end everyone in my TW squad was lagging. It made the game unplayable. Come on PWI fix your game! It's not even worth going if you can't get off skills or move!

FYI I stopped lagging when I left the TW insance so I think it's something with the TW instance that they need to look at.

    As soon as TW started, our run in WS started lagging really badly as well. Seems like they have both instances on the same server, and whatever was going on, it was pretty bad.

    Toons outside the affected instances had no lag at all. Inside was a different story, so it's definitely either an issue with the server they run the instance of of, or with the data stream to that server.

    It's an online game - lag happens sometimes. Doesn't have to be on your or PWI's end.
    So suck it up or go play offline games. There are plenty great ones, I assure you.

    I hate to start a debate, but i have to disagree.

    It is clearly on PWs end, and they should work on it, simple as that.

    May i also add that terms such as *suck it up* towards a stranger is very rude to say the least

    Truth may be harsh, world may be harsh as well - we all gotta suck it up.

    I personally changed my ISP almost 2 months ago - since then I've got dc'ed once. Once in 2 months, dude.
    Also, I rarely get any lags in game, unless I forget to turn torrents off while I'm playing, and that's on my end.
    Now, do we play a different game? No, me, OP, and you, Skippy, play on the same server.
    How come I don't get any connection problems playing 10-12 hours a day and the rest of the time running catshops, and others do?
    Simple - it's not on PWI's end, but on player's, ISP's or some network hub's, that stands in-between.

    Recently I've noticed all german players having connection issues all at the same time - they still have them to this day. Is it on PWI's end? FFS no.

    Some people just have stop imagining things and blaming PWI for all world's problems or QQmoar and hope their lives get better doing that. Though, the latter has proved ineffective. b:chuckle

    Usually it is with the internet in-between. In this partcular case, that this discussion is directly concerning during TW today, the issue was difinitively ON the server that manages the TW instance maps.

    Later there was other lag affecting west coast servers, and I was able to trace that to an issue with the international hub in LA. This one instance though, the LA servers were fine. I was getting a perfect trace to the servers, and it was ONLY affecting toons that were inside TW and Warsong, which points directly to it being an internal issue.

    I mean really guys, you know me. I'm the first to say it's not likely an issue on the server.

    OMG I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE!

    Normally I was able to play max settings while record at the same time. Today I had to turn settings down to minimum, stop recording, and still couldn't play because of lag...b:cry

    That's not lag, that's a low framerate, and it's completely different to what everyone else is discussing here.
