PV Group mode is better than solo?

I return after about a year and see a lot of people doing PV in groups. Having a 102 Seeker and having solo'd 100+ PV in the past I have been skeptical about why people would do such a thing. I tried PV in a group for the first time and was surprised that I gained 2 levels in the 65-70 range. I would think that the exp would be bad even with Hypers and 3x going on. at least for 6 people.

So I ask the question does PV adjust the experience gained based on how many people are in the instance?

Sorry for the Nub question. b:surrender

If you can solo, solo... As long as you have multiple openers

The thing is people now do it in squads because there's a lot of people needing to lvl awakened toon, and without frost is the way to do it

Exp is devided by squad members, but also increased a little.

    Solo: 100%
    Duo: 60%
    Trio: 47%
    quatro: 41%

So if you can increase the amount of runs you can do in 15 minutes enough to make up for that, it is worth doing it with more. It is of course also convenient if you dont have any alts to open for yourself.
Everything i write is from PvE perspective unless mentioned otherwise.

Yeah, as has been said, it depends on the situation.
If it takes you the whole 15mins or more to solo it when you could have done multiple runs within the 15mins in a group......group is definitely better. However, if you're OP enough to do multiples solo and have enough openers.....then solo is better.
