Sparkie said he was told by the higher ups to limit the freebie codes. Not sure if that means no more, or wait a long while before giving another.Malice Leader - Raging Tides

It's honestly fine if they wanna liment it.But they can give us our DQ Rewards back so we can farm them.Reason it was limented was because less people are giving them money.Less people are doing that because they have limeted what we can do.Smart buseness make your people happy!!!0

In case you haven't noticed....sparkiesoft and the GMs all avoid the DQ thread. They have not posted a response on their despite constant pleas for one. At this point I highly doubt we will get a new DQ system.0 -

I've sent multiple tickets to PWE about the DQ rewards system that was supposed to be implemented into ARC over a year ago, and they consistently fail to provide any timeframe for when the system will be available. Sparkie's bosses have told him to ignore the DQ threads, and the support staff are about as clueless as all of us. All that I could be told was that it was still being worked on; though they couldn't even get an understanding of "what" system I was referring too until multiple (5+) tickets had been sent. Meaning, they couldn't even bother to read the tickets and understand or fathom what I was referencing.I host an Ecatomb mirror here: ecatomb.gdevtalk.net
I've been actively playing since late 2008.

The game is different from other games because of the prizes, I put the money for it. I'm tired of playing MMOs who spoke to load all the time hindering the development of the game just for money.
PWI is the only game I play.
Please give us new codes is a motivation for us.

I found PWI as a result of searching for free alternatives to -p2p games-
Six years ago my wife purchased -snip- for me, for my birthday. After paying $50 for the installation disk, I discovered I was required to pay a monthly fee to maintain an active account. This was an outrage to me, because I had never played an MMO game, so I had no clue how they worked.
When I stumbled onto PWI, I was impressed by the promise of "FREE to play" and gave it a shot. At that time, EVERYONE in the game was a noob and we ALL shared in the learning curve. The concept of putting real money into a game wasn't appealing at all, since my financial resources are limited. I have always been behind the curve on every aspect of advancing in the game, which was no big deal since many people were using real money to get ahead and I respect that as one of life's realities.
Over the years, I have managed to put real money into the game, albeit in scant amounts each time. Every time I had that influx of game currency, the in game economy was significantly worse than before, leaving me with less opportunity per real dollar than those that had the luxury of upgrading long before me. Unfortunately, there are many players in game that can relate to what I'm saying.
After six years in the game, many friends have long moved on to other games, the feeling of long term loyalty has died and the few remaining in game friends have been dropping from game like flies; over the past few months! With DQ no longer a resource for in game fund raising for "FREE TO PLAY" players, options for advancing beyond the NEW free gear is ridiculously unrealistic. Sure you can earn decent coin from doing the high level events, but the requisite for participating requires quality gear. Cash players have no appreciation for this reality, many will spew the nonsensical claim that they EARNED their gear, which is pure B.S., OR they did it when earning in game coin was an achievable option. Those days are gone, and anyone that denies it is only fooling themselves or dumb-*** blind!
The recent expansion was an initial thrill, enjoying the new leveling process as an experienced player. However, the "fresh meat" to PWI are being leveled too fast to acquire knowledge of the game play and no chance to raise coin. They are reaching the point of needing gold TT mats and no in game options to obtain them, the way we did 4 - 6 years ago. Before you start flaming me on all your "logical solutions" to this problem, don't bother. The dynamics that were in place over the first 3 or 4 years are no longer here.
Finally, the RANDOM luck lottery involved in successfully obtaining gear enhancements and rewards in PWI has ALWAYS been pure B.S., pairing THAT fail to the removal of in game coin raising options and it is NO MYSTERY why this game has been dying. The NEWEST trend is a disparate (NOT desperate) effort, to COMPEL EVERYONE to become cash players. You can make the argument that PWI is a company and needs revenue to sustain its business, but you are overlooking the reality that it is no longer FREE to play IF you want to get anywhere. If you don't want to get anywhere in this game what the hell is the point in playing? I suppose I could take a cue from the filthy mouthed *** **** in world chat, that it is viewed by some as less a game and more a way to hook up with kids?
In Hindsight, with the difference in individual advancement between PWI and -snip-, I would be further ahead and much more to show with -snip-'s monthly fee, then I have to show for the money I've spent in PWI over 6 years. The removal (or substantial decrease) of codes is only one more of the final straws; for many people.
Before you attempt to display your hell bent loyalty to PWI (I have been a strong advocate for PWI over the years), by attacking or "correcting" me on my points in this post, do a little research in the forums and see that I am only now, acknowledging complaints that others were quicker to acknowledge over the years. PWI "appears" to be trying to drive people into their other games. From a business perspective, this makes sense. From a players perspective, having invested real money into THIS game, it is enough to compel people to cut their losses and move along! I am currently writing a letter of regret for my faction, which will affirm that my involvement in PWI activity will be drastically reduced to the point I will not be available as their primary source of support in faction anymore. I do not intend to delete PWI, but I will not be investing any more real money, and my time and effort towards the game will be comparably insignificant to the past; from here out.0 -

To me, the game has always been a knowledge exploit.
People who figured things out, or took the time to look around, had a major advantage over those who didn't. Cube boxes that were worth 100k average, could have the golden chance sold for 500-600k and platinum for a mil. That was 5-10 gold each at the time.
Figuring out how to level faster, put you ahead of everyone else for pvp/tw/DT. DT was also worth money, getting the beach costume pieces to sell for up to 10 gold each.
Took me a while, but once I started merchanting money was even easier to be had. And no annoying barb, cleric, dd order for drops. Even though my cleric could grab second pick, it simply wasn't worth the gross amount of greed and hassle. Especially with how much could be made in easier ways.
And the thing is, that has stayed constant. I got APS gear before packs, and got the rest of the pieces I needed the first few days packs were out. It was cheap to get them, and I knew how good they were already for a BM. I bought DoD for 2-3 mil, getting 3-4 a day and sharded for JoSD. I also got the lunar -int cape that was farmed, so I could stuff JoSD over the DoD I still have on the token -int.
All of that people would say I was wrong, or wasting my time doing. All of them ended up being the best path.
And the thing is, there are still many knowledge exploits available in game to beat even CSers in power. The super spenders, obviously not. But everyone going full A cards without 6 set bonus, warsoul, etc are easily going to be beatable at a fraction of the cost. Because they are still going off bad advice and didn't bother thinking things through.
To me, that's the real competition. Getting the advantages the masses have missed, and exploiting the heck out of them before others can catch on. And there are many ways still available to earn coin at the moment, DQ hasn't been a money maker for me in a long *** time.
The only way it might affect me, is if there is a trickle down due to people not being able to buy things I sell for as high a price. But since as everyone says, most end game gear is in the CS now, that actually won't have as big an effect on getting end game anyways. It's more a sign to find gear that has a high coin cost, and focus on that first. But only if it has a static coin cost, not a variable like someone want 3 bil for a scroll of tome, when it's a CS item that should be going down in price with the price of gold.0 -
