I was thinking starting on a PvP server what a good 1 to start on ( as in friendly players, big tw factions, pricey items, high -low levels etc.)

thanks

Just pick a pvp server with the best ping for you. Better ping = less frustration in PvP.

There are only two PvP servers for this version. Lost City (west coast) and Harshlands (east coast). Just take the one on the coast nearest to where you live.

    thanks

It will take at least 2 years of playing every day for 5-10 hours and a few thousand dollars if you want to compete with just the average PVP dude. And you will never belong to the best.
On the other side: People of real TW factions (there are not many of those on every server, maybe just 4-6 and some of them are even alt factions) are more friendly (again).

Between 9/2008 and ~9/2009 we (on lc server) had a lot of very friendly (helpful) and a lot of harsh (rude, annoying, cheating) ppl.

Between 2010~2013 we lost most of the friendly folk.
2013+ some ppl did grow up and got more social competence, most of the rudest ppl left/had to leave. Every server has just a very small core community, maybe just around 300-400. The top 100-200 addicts are known to everyone.

Lowbie areas are out-dated. Only casuals and "single players" are there and they are non-factors in this game ;).

This game has become VERY complex. Even if you are playing just one class, you also have to know the (skills/genie skills/etc. of) other classes very well. If you join TW in a big TW faction the others will expect that you are prepared (=costly) and are able to play in a team. Don't expect to be the big winner. You only can win MMOs by quitting them anyway. ;)
