"startbypatcher" no longer works?

As of the new expansion I can no longer use the "startbypatcher" argument to open the client. It opens a distorted window of the client and crashes as it gets to the log-in screen. Do the argument no longer work? Since I haven't seen any other threads and come up empty when I search I guess it should still be working.

Right now I'm using the "arc:1" argument for the patcher to bypass Arc, which work fine but it's a bit annoying having to launch the patcher every time.

Anyone got an idea about what's going on?

    Still works fine for me. Maybe you have a corrupt file?

    FWIW, startbypatcher still works fine for me too. Could it possibly be related to the other problems that were going on with DW recently?
