Abaddon demon culti no help

I got through my cluti in a day with the new pill but now that i have reached abbadon its seeming imposible to get a squad together nobody is willing to help. It has been about two weeks of trying all my horns and teles and bought somemore teles they were waisted. I just want to reawaken b:cry

    i know the feeling was on my bm last night took over an hour of wc'ing to fill the squad for abba culti b:sad

    with the amount of **** being spammed with horns, a lot of the "regular" players just block ppl using horns now because unlike other chat forms it cant be turned off. harsh but the sad truth. plus witht he amount of under geared lvl 100s.. noone wants to take them to instances where they spend more time dead than alive? Did a sot culti for a couple of ppl today and they were getting 1 shotted to mob aoes before we even got to boss.

    point of the rant is.. no one wants to do an instance for someone who cant contribute and just stands in the back and unless you have stashed 100+ gear (which is not the case with 80%+ of the "new 100s").. it would be better or easier to get a faction squad than randoms who are already tired of pill levelled toons


    plus everyone hates running aba and sot now after it got remade >> This is where you need friends and factions to help

    lol if you just wanna reawaken then you can go do it, you dont need abba for that just finish fb89 and i was having that same problem for this toon in my server and that was way way before the pill came out, people just don't wanna help unless they know each other or you pay them

    so what i did was did a abba bh and waited for everyone to leave team and i was left leader and went and solo the rest.

    everyone hates running aba and sot now after it got remade because everyone is ****** lazy even if they got gear to not be 1 shot.
    Sometimes I believe that players want to go there and the bosses die by an heart attack.

    Well, i'm in a great faction where people get all the help they need when they need/want instance runs, bosses,TT,...etc.

    But...that being said, SoT is one of those instances NO one likes to do, even if they have good gear. A lot of well geared players (non R9) die a lot on the final boss, esp. those who need the run for culti or whatever.

    That's so true. You indeed need a good, willing and able faction there. Glad i'm in one b:pleased

    On archo i regularly did weekly aba and sot and i saw other squads being made too. Im guessing there should at least be someone making a squad on other servers too. You can join one of those. Best to check WC on monday when the weekly quest is reset.

    I personally can easily run both of the instances solo, but, I don't help people in WC for them.

    FB99 + Random people = Time+frustration 90% of them times. This being said, even in faction, if only 1 person needs it then I won't run it. Same thing with delta, but that's another story. To get me to do FB99 or delta (either full or w4) I have to be sure I have at least 4 people who need it, otherwise it's a waste of time for me... And if they are badly geared it's not even fun, it gets frustrating, fast, really fast...

    Anyways, I am sorry that you are not being able to do it and you have been WCing, but, you have to understand other people's (the helpers) point of view too.

    Agreed. We spent most of the weekend sorting out who needed which one, and then once we had 4 or 5 people lined up, running the instance.

    We always have Delta Sundays for the 100 culti as well.

    You don't need Abba/SOT to reawaken. Just Eden/Brimstone (FB89) for first sage/demon culti.

    As others have said, one of the main problems is that no one really wants to do SOT, or Abba, since it's been remade. Even worse, is that since both SoT, and Abba are now Bh2's, they often get skipped via Active Points....which further reduces the amount of time that people spend in them.

    This means that aside from a few people who didn't spend active points on them, the main time that anyone goes is for the weekly shards. I'm not certain which bosses you need for Abba, nor if those bosses are the same as the weekly bosses. If they are, then pm a person that's doing a weekly and ask if you can join, and that you need those bosses for cultivation, and that you've really been trying to get help for it. People can kind of deal with that. I'm not sure what your gear is, but I would advise not going in there with the free gear PWI gave all of the 95+ characters when they used it. It WILL get you killed. I would strongly advise using at least the free Morai 95 gear over that gear. That will save you a lot of heartache.

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having such a rough time in cultivation. Hopefully you get to run soon.

    it would not be so bad IF PWI had made the weekly 99 run with the culti bosses, but they did not. in fact, they created a totally new splitt cave in abba, where you wont even see a single culti boss if you run the weekly. .... in sot you would at least get a low chance that people might help after or befor the weekly start, with at least one boss. but in Abba the whole cave is designed to be runned in a correct way, therefore if you kill a culti boss you may have to reset the whole cave? ...

    in my opinion the whole redesign was stupid and they should reverse it.

    sorry for all people who still need it.
    i hate those instance too. especially the boss hellfire drop the hp of my barbarian so fast and the cleric can not really bb and is struggleling on interruption and selfheal.

    my barbarian is full g16 +5

    im prettty sure that technically if you run the Aba weekly "properly" youll see the first 3 culti bosses, but not peach..which will be quite far away and not near any tele

    sot ones are really out of the way though imo

    Aba and SoT are those instances that make you want to pull your hair out. People don't listen and those of us that can run it get almost to the point of breaking our keyboards and yelling profanities loud enough our neighbors think about calling the police fearing its a domestic squabble.

    Plus now with the 95 pill you have people wanting either of these that are way under geared, which adds to the frustration level. Hell I waited months for mine until I was adequately geared to be of help and not a drag to those that helped me. But people aren't patient at all.

    Indeed, those 3 culti bosses are neatly grouped together with the final boss of the weekly. Couldnt be more convenient. And once that run is done, you just ask the squad if anyone please wants to kill peach for you. b:pleased

    Um... no. Once you return to present Aba, you can't get to Peach. To do all 4 culti bosses in one run, you have to kill them in the past, before completing the Return to the Future puzzle quest.

    which you should technically do(kill in past) to weaken the final boss i believe

    So dont bugger the people in squad about doing a long way, just take those 3 bosses with them and then give a little hint that you need peach hoping someone will open en new instance with you or do peach in some BH run or next weeks weekly (i believe you must do peach after those 3 but it is at the point where you teleport to the past)

    I love when ppl who I help don't contribute and just stand in the back and let me do all the job instead of interfearing, dying and making me wait till they come back from the city. If I know the boss aoe's hard and can 1shot, I ask them to stay back, and it goes smoothly. Actually, when I agree to help in FB, I intend to provide safe run, not asking to help me to kill mobs b:chuckle sometimes best help is if you don't hinder.

    I'm not sure about aba, had no time or reason to investigate, but sot isn't harder after remake at all. Maybe even easier. The only problem is last boss, but it was slightly nerfed in some update. I do it half afk on macro. Not in nv3 of course, but there are a lot of r9r players with decent refines who can solo it. You don't need full squad, 1 with good rank gear, charm, a bit of apo to be sure he is safe, brain and knowledge of his class is quite enough to do it ;)

    Aba is super easy. The hardest thing in aba might actually be puppeteer that we all know from BH.

    SOT the last boss isnt that bad, imo. Just use one of the courtyard pots to give cover for the cleric to get BB up and most G16 geared people should be safe.

    The problem is the doggies *****. you need to select an ally to activate the protection pots and then there is so much **** around that it is hard to reselect her. You have a squad with randoms and let them do the pots, they fail to do the pots :(

    I've helped a couple random people off WC for their abba/sot cultis. It was a bit frustrating because a seeker in squad i was helping almost died of AoEs from one of the bosses in abba. Roughly 2 aoes would take it down to a sliver of health.

    Furthermore, what frustrated me more was they asked me to solo weekly for them after that. No, they weren't joking. I would help more, but it's experiences like these that deter me from helping random people. Especially crystal babies -- instead of being thankful, there is a larger sense of entitlement to help. Instead of "thank you for the help", it's usually "omg finallyyyyyyy".
