not strictly a Crash, but has the same result: you have to restart client.
since the expansion, the "Server Error. Please log off and try again." warning pops up annoyingly often. in fact this has never happened to me before the expansion and i am hearing same complaints in factoin.
you can move, you can chat, but that is all. u cannot cast, or use any skills, or talk to npc. you HAVE to relog and hope you won't get "Server Error. Please log off and try again." again (in a rare cases it just fixes itself). i am compelled to post this because now i got this error six times in row! what a pain!

    i get the same error, only seems to happen to me when i log out in a populated area like west or south arch, fix would be nice cause it gets incredibly annoying having to crash the client and relog like 10+ times. When the server error occurs it usually shows ping at 0ms and will usually rubberband you back to where you initially logged in after a couple minutes.

    It happens every time I log in on my cat shop since the patch. Very annoying because I can't use this account. I haven't had a problem with my main account.

    some people having this or a similar problem have found the cause being their antivirus/firewall being in conflict with arc

    as much as i agree that arc is an obnoxious, unnecessary, half-assed and bug-ridden pile of ****. which was made to shove more pwe **** down our throats and to make an aburd attempt to compete with the leading digital distribution platform. i fear that arc has very little to do with this particular issue, since a good portion of the people affected by it circumvent arc in the first place.


    also even IF it were the case; when antivirus/firewall detects a dangerous software, then the dangerous/amateurish developed software that triggers an alarm is to blame, not the protection!

    I've been starting game without ARC and have this problem. Doesn't matter if I start with or without, it seems to be random. But if I get it once, it takes several tries of closing out the client completely and restarting it to get this fixed.
    If you bite some one, they get mad and smack you.
    But if you lick them, you still get the flavor.
    And they think you're weird.

    Don't move, just stay still in place for about 1 minute or 2, it will 'fix' by itself.

    You'll notice you've been "fixed" when you click "fly" and your character actually uses the flier, or when you try to use a skill/item and it works.

    And yes its WAY TOO ANNOYING and needs fixing ASAP!

    I had this error tonight when I rebooted before PV. I thought it had fixed its self after a bit but when I was in PV I had no quest box to tele out. I had to use tele incense to leave each instance. I also could not tele into AEU for bh. I rebooted the client and it fixed.

    Have been getting this same issue, hmm, has anyone else looked at
    "ping" mine shows 0 then if I wait a few min. it returns to normal and I can go on my way.

    Just wondering, to those that are getting the server error thing are u also having issues the first time u go into tt and step onto the platform to enter mob area. or are u have any issues entering aeu?

    I have been having a non auto teleport issue with both, have to let lead know that I have to do a quick out to main menu then back in and let him/her know to watch for me and readd. however after I have been in either for the first time I can either step onto the platform in tt and be auto ported in or walk in aeu's auto port spot and port in.


    have checked my anti virus and firewall, and have found no conflict going on with either one. both the server error and the auto tele with tt an aeu started right after eclipse patch.

    best solution is..keep ur char in an instance for eg.hall of deception while logging out, that way u wont get the server error.
