Xp/drop Bonuses turned off...Happy New Year...

Wow......just amazing how little regard this company has for anything but the almighty dollar/pound/kroner/etc.
Think I just made a New Years Resolution to go play something else.

    Does PWI have like their own little smart mouth task force that always defends them? I agree wit this guy, not about the leaving part but why they would switch it off day before holiday no one knows...probably just didn't feel like doing it next maint.

    Forgot to mention in my first post: No more blessings as well.

    Awesome.

    Guess PWI made a New Years resolution to drive away as much of the customer base as they could so whats left could be consolidated onto one or two servers and they could be operated like high dollar private servers.

    I did not defend PWE in any way. Or even imply to that end.

    I don't understand the point of quitting in anger posts (especially when the topics of why they are quitting has no official announcement and is speculation). His announcing his quitting won't change anything, so not much else to say besides have fun in another game.

    They do not need a maint to turn on/off 2x.

    Wrong. Point is valid. They made the decision/ or even didn't make a decision to end it the 31st not because of any maintenance. You need another excuse. Personally I think there are some monkeys flicking the switches. No notice of 3x ex and 2x drops was ever made AFAIK. They may not even know it's off. They may not have known they turned it on.

    Actually, maintenance is NOT needed to turn on 2x (eh.. misread, rest of the post is still valid though), It's a simple call to the server they do through a web interface. it turns off with maintenance because it kills all active calls

    To turn off the 2x etc.. bonuses are kind of a kick in the teeth again from pwi. They have so much going wrong right now that i feel it was the least they could do. We on the Arch server crashed twice i one week alone (once for 16 hours) not even a sorry let alone we lost our daily check ins etc.. In addition to that the bh 100's have become a joke. We have to check the gear of each member coming in. Joined a squad the other day where the first 2 toons i looked at were using Hook and Thorns and another tt90 gear. I do not mind helping people but i have a lot of time and money in my gear for this my bh runs or this game for that matter to be ruined by toons that are worthless. Do some thinking PWI, maybe do a count of how few people are even in arch right now. You're killing us and driving people to other games

    It's really funny how some people call others greedy and entitled. With all that PWI gives, they are still one of the more greedy/stingy MMO's. I could post some other games and the month long events they did. I could show you their log in rewards, something it seems PW copied but did a ****ty job of making it useful items. I mean yellow gear pigs and primal bloods, vitea/holypills. Those items lose their usefulness. Some of the events are even "kill mobs all day long and get PP drops" and completing quests for nice rewards box that contains PP, pets, other sht. BTW PP is like our event gold, except is can buy a much wider range of items. I can't even remember the last gold event card we got.

    Now this is a pretty old game. I played this before PWI but as you can see, the items are usable by everyone and always are needed.

    PWI is really behind the curve. There is nothing wrong with letting them know. Digital sht isn't stocked on a shelf being produced with limited resources.

    They need to up their game. Besides the stupid snowmen, bonus exp/drops, can someone tell me what event took place?

    Oh Yes! That's right! We had a flipping 15% bonus zen charge reward. They didn't even bother to post about exp/drops. They don't bother with any meaningful in-game events.

    Don't be a fanboy and say how others are entitled and greedy, it's a game. They are supposed to give us stuff on holidays, that's how games keep it fun on the Holidays.

    No. I'm not mad at all. I'm greatful for being able to take advantage of the couple of weeks of 2x/3x we already got instead of being a whiny crybaby for not getting more. I like living with those kinds of higher standards for behavior. It makes life much more pleasant.

    Mad are those here crying about the termination of a free event even though it was offered for 2 weeks out of the past 4 to 5 weeks. Pathetic and disgraceful attitude from the entitlement class. Must be such a miserable existence never getting enough of something for nothing. Ungreatful trolls.

    Evidently reading comprehension is not a skill you possess. No anger was expressed in the OP, just disgust and amazement. As far as the topic you attempted to cite, how is the fact that bonuses that were enabled and are now disabled speculation? Do you even know what the word speculation means?
