Book of Time

I have received a celestial vale pack on my character. It contains an illusionary crystal, some gear, flyer, etc and a book of time.
Now the description on the book of time says that it will promote our spiritual cultivation from aware of principle to aware trancendence. But when I took the Book of time quest from the Mailbox . . I just got a gold gear . . and there was no change in my culti. So am I doing anything wrong ? Do I need to do anything else with the book of time to promote my culti ?

    do the culti. the book of time gives gear till transcendence.

    it doesnt upgrade your culti.... b:shutup

    it gives you gear for each culti you have finished.
