Which armor to have upon rebirth?

Pardon the title, I wasn't sure how to word it in a limited amount of characters.

I'm a level 101 Cleric, thanks to the new stones that got released (I was level 85 before it), and since I am pathetically low ranked, the general consensus is to rebirth as soon as possible after finishing up cultivation (and possibly spending some time to get the higher skills, though I don't think I need too many of them).

Now I've heard that you can get armour from Morai that you can wear immediately upon rebirth, because it loses the level requirements/doesn't have stat requirements/something of the sort. I was wondering if someone could tell me what this magical armour is, so that I don't have to deal with all the tiny people armour again upon regressing in level.

Thanks in advance.

You don't need to rebirth to get morai gear and it has str/mag requirements, so you can't wear it at lvl 1.
AFAIK only the rank gears can be wear since lvl 1.

When you reawaken, you are given a set of gear that you should keep hold of for when you do your second reawakening. Sometimes it might not matter given how quickly you level up but by the time you reach a certain level ~ I'm guessing either level 50 or 60 your final stage gears can be worn long as you stat yourself properly. (((I believe your final stage cape and some ornaments are also active when you reawaken so you aren't exactly a weak person when you begin again.))) I still have mine stashed away as a "just in case" when and if they allow us to reawaken a third time. Morai DOES give you a free set of gear but surely you can just wear it when you reach the required level.

So really if what you're asking is about the low level gear to wear on reawakening then this is it.

Given how fast you can level after rebirthing, you don't really need to worry about what gear you're going to wear. 5 Fantasy Fruits alone will get you from lvl. 1 to 21, no gear necessary, and most ornaments don't have any stat requirements.

Morai Armor is quest armor from the Morai map. (Which you should be able to teleport to, via the Morai Guide.) There are 3 categories of Morai gear:

Morai 95: Which is freely given as a quest armor.

Morai 100: Free Morai 100 Armor from AEU. (Advanced Endless Universe.)

Morai 101: Morai Armor that you purchase from your order in Morai. (Takes a while to get all of the pieces, since you need to earn the prestige and influence necessary to do so...plus the coin fee.) Also, Morai 101 Arcane armor is purchased from Corona. Morai magic weapon is purchased from Shroud. (As a cleric, please be aware that the Morai weapons are good for attacking, not so much for squad healing, so it helps to have a second weapon to switch to. (TT weapon or Legendary preferably, since you don't have G15/G16 yet.))

Sidenote: The irony in this is that I would recommend you to join Luminesce first upon entering Morai, as all of the other skills need Violet Dance, which is found in Luminesce. (Unless you purchase them from another player.) The only other skill for a cleric that does't require violet dance is ancestor's blessing...no xp loss skill...which as it would turn out...is also found in luminesce, and as a non-tradeable status, cannot be sold by another player.

Note: Morai Gear is not good in PvP: It's attack power comes from it's slaying levels, and it's defensive properties come from it's Warding levels...which amount to nothing against another player, but in the area of PvE, it's great armor to have.

As Illyn stated however....you cannot equip Morai gear upon rebirth. Aside from rank gear, all gear requires for you to meet the stat requirements necessary to equip them. So upon rebirthing the first time, you should be able to equip your gear around level 50'ish.

One thing to note is that they do give you "Rebirth Gear", which is basically level 1 gear on a TT60'ish level. By the time you reach around level 60, you should be back in your real gear. If my memory serves correctly, you should also be able to keep your necklace, belt, and I believe your cape equipped, due the fact that they don't have stat requirements.

Hopefully that helps to clear up some of the confusion about Morai gear, as well as to give a brief tutorial as to what Morai is about gearwise...as well as touching up a little on it skill-wise.

As an additional sidenote, I saw you in Thousand Streams yesterday. Lol.

Lmao yeah, I went around today investigating all the stuff each order gives. By the look of it, I definitely want to join Lumi first for the skills, then go Corona for the armour. The Shroud weapon looks nice, but I am a lazy person and there's nothing else in Shroud I really want. My weapon's a Master one, and I'm nearly able to upgrade to TT70-80, so if I'm lucky enough I'll have a good weapon for when TT rolls around again to get the last mats for the highest TT stuff.

I think I'll hang around for awhile at the level I am now to at the very least get the Lumi skills. The Corona armour I can probably pass on until I can get back into Morai later.

Oh? XD I have been running around there a lot lately, finally got my first 79 skill from buying all the ink. It's been a very Thousand Streams type week for me.

Now if only I could get into Lothranis for those herbs...

Definitely go lumi first - even if only for Ancestor's Blessing which you get very quickly. The UV ones are nice to but you need max prestige so will take a while. I wouldn't worry to much about the Corona gear its expensive - go for TT99 (or Lunar if you prefer ) then get it to NV2 quickly with uncannies. Clerics are always needed in full Warsong and it wont take too long to get the Nirvana 3 plans/molds.

As a cleric you will often not be required to solo a pavilion there, but I can do it comfortably with a G16 glaive only +3 ( cost 20-25 million if you make yourself).

In Warsong even in only Vana 2 gear you will be more comforable than many 'better' geared melee classes.

...yeaaaah I don't have that kind of cash. I'm lucky to have 100k after a day of questing, though that's now risen to 500k thanks to the quests being bumped up in cash. I've never had a million in coin on me at any one time.

Warsong is something I've always been interested in, but I've never run it before so I'm always wary of asking to join, since people seem to be huffy about people not knowing what to do...I'd like to learn it (even if I'm just there for the heals), but it seems most people these days just want to rush to a boss/certain bosses and ignore the mechanics of the place. I dunno.

TT is definitely something I plan to do more of though. I need upgrades to my stuff, a Master magic blade is nice, but only goes so far.
